The hotel was conveniently located to the beach with access to several restaurants. However, if you are looking for a family atmosphere, this isn’t the place to go.

I was really let down by this hotel. The room had a strong smell of mold and mildew, and everything felt dirty and old. It clearly hasn’t been well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere was uninviting. I usually trust Expedia to recommend quality accommodations, but this experience was far below expectations. Definitely not worth the price.

Aged property. Overall a feel of grunginess. No option to submit photos but there was a layer of dirt on ceiling that looked like it was attempted to be cleaned. I suspect each unit may vary based on primary tenant. Better places to stay in Myrtle Beach.

Great outdoor and indoor bars but the place needs some TLC a it's very dated. Has to chase housekeeping down to get toilet paper, soap and towels. We had none at check in. Great location though

The room was ok for the one night we stayed in it. We did find a pair of dirty underwear bottoms in our closet.. there was also chocolate unwrapped on the floor next to the bed. There’s a tv in the bathroom, but it doesn’t work. There was a real tree air freshener shoved into one of the air vents in the living room area. I would say it’s not terrible for one night, but it was a little gross finding underwear and chocolate just out on the floor. The front desk staff was great, and the restaurant downstairs was also great.

Everything was really nice the food the people the room were clean. The room was a little out dated I love the washer and the dryer that was in the room room house keeping with a little slow but overall I enjoy my stay and we’ll stay again.

I liked how the beach was illuminated to be used all night. Great ocean view. There's a bad mold problem in the room I stayed in with mandates to keep the AC running at 70 degrees all the time with the balcony door closed.

Beach Party Fun

The River City Cafe’s food was delicious and there was a great band playing from 2pm - 11pm and the beach bar. You could spend the whole vacation at the beach and pool and have a great time.

I didn’t enjoy this property. The hotel has two towers. The old side of the hotel isn’t advertised but the renovated side is. When I arrived the room was old and needed renovations. The linen was dirty and there was hair all over the bathroom. There were stains on the wall as well. I then was switched to the new tower where the rooms were nicer. Went to bed and woke up with bug bites. 0/10 wouldn’t recommend. You will be close to the water and have a nice view but that’s about it. I will not be back to this property or anywhere surrounding it.

For an ocean front room during the peak of the summer at a low price, this was as good as it gets. Expect chipped paint, outdated appliances, rust everywhere, etc Also expect friendly staff, great food and entertainment, great location and more.

Overall our stay was great our room was clean, the property overall could use some updates. We were right above the pool area so the band played until about 11…not a deal breaker as the band was really good but if you have kids may want to consider this. Location was convenient and close to things to do. The price was very reasonable for peak summer dates.

We had 3 rooms upon checking in. The first room had black mold. As we were talking to front desk about it, another couple was getting a refund for black mold in their room, as well. Our second room they put us in had brown stains all over the sheets on the bed and it was a smoking room, which we had requested a non-smoming room. Our third room also had black mold, the refrigerator was rusted with actual holes in tbe frame, and everything was extremely damp. The front desk offered to clean the black mold, which we accepted. There was also a dorty pair of underwear laying in the elevator. Also, only 1 elevator worked. Besides that stuff the hotel was great. Cool things to do and the beach bar was excellent. Would return if the cleanliness improved.
