We are ready to welcome you to our Ocean View Two Bedroom Condo located at the beautiful Beach Colony Resort in the heart of Myrtle Beach!

Our two bedroom condo can sleep up to eight guests and is available exclusively through the official On-Site Rental provider. Your stay will include all linens and towels, and NO departure cleaning fee. You will also have access to our 24-hour front desk.

MYR Beach Colony

The outdoor pools and premises and location of the unit were great . The unit itself was not real clean and the furniture is so dated it was dangerous. The coffee table and kitchen table were about to collapse. The shower pluming lever was broke.The light to the kitchen was not working all the time.

Overall great stay

Beds were comfortable. Plenty of linens for a weeks stay. My only complaint was the suite next to us was having new floor put in so we had an 8am wake up call everyday and boxes of flooring, wheelbarrow and buckets to walk around every day. Not really the resorts fault! Enjoyed our stay

This was surprisingly a very spacious condo. The Vice an sounded amazing from the balcony.

The condo was great we just had trouble finding cleaning supplies but it was an easy fix with Dollar tree. The air flow through the apartment was like being on the ocean when we opened both doors of the balcony. There was plenty of space and seating for family time and fun.

Filthy with no accountability.

Cons: -Called for 3 days straight trying to add a guest to check in because they were arriving a day earlier than me. Finally reached someone on day 3 after leaving 2 voicemails. They immediately put me on hold and then I was hung up on. This happened 5 times in a row and then they apologized and stated after a guest is on hold for 30 seconds, the phone hangs up. Really?! -Initial room was nothing like the pictures on the booking site and the room was filthy. The front desk gave us the option to look at 2 more rooms on the floor under us. We chose the best out of the two but it was still filthy and the living room tv didn’t work. Paper behind the tv stands and very dusty. The bathroom tubs were also not cleaned well. Carpet was also not clean. When the uncleanliness was reported, they said they would take care of it and nothing happened. Appliances need to be updated and a constant smell was present. -There was a roach, not a water bug, in the restaurant/bar. -Only one elevator was working that would take me and my family up to our room so you could either take the stairs or wait 10 minutes for an elevator. -When it was time to check out at 11am, I received a phone call that the promotion package purchased from their concierge department was canceled so our 2 hour later checkout was no longer active. I went down stairs to checkout and we began packing the cart and had to wait for the elevators, of course. When I returned from checking out, my family informed me that a staff member had been to the room already asking if we were checking out. Not too long later, someone bangs on the door loudly, as if it were law enforcement, and it was another staff member who presented with an attitude asking us were we leaving and when i informed her we were about to leave she walked off and paged the front desk like she was calling the “principal.” Then the front desk called the room phone and we informed them once again we were leaving. Mind you, I have an infant in the room who was asleep at the time while we were trying to get our things together. -When i reported to the manager of the experience he took no accountability and stated that housekeeping is on a time crunch and she didn’t bang on the door like the police. I’m sorry sir, were you there? He did not apologize for the filth but stated he would ignore the late checkout. So unprofessional. -Bigger vehicles will not fit past level 1 in parking deck. Pro -We left.

The first room they gave us so out dated torn carpet, rusted fridge, old furniture. It was the last unit towards the street on the 11th floor. Oceanview had to cran your neck to see. The second place was nice but had a musty smell from the air-conditioning. Bar staff was great.

AC issues

Had some issues with the AC not working, they put us in another unit for the night and thought they had fixed the problem the next day. It was not fixed however we were leaving the next morning so we just stayed in that unit. They were great about trying to fix the issue and accommodate us for the inconvenience.

Baby’s first experience

The experience was good. We came with our own baby stuff but a high chair, baby proofing cabinets and outlets, and a baby pack and play would be handy if accepting baby’s into the residence. Also some more kitchen supply’s would be helpful. Had to get a cooking sheet just to do anything in the oven.

Nice place

It was a nice place to stay for a family vaca. We had a roomy 2 bedroom condo by the beach. Nice pool and hot tube. I just wish their on site restaurant was open throughout the day.

Room needs some updates & the living room chairs need to be cleaned or replaced but overall the Condo fit our family needs. Close to everything and neighbors were quiet. Beach access was awesome. Very nice to have a washer and dryer in the room. Front desk staff was courteous.

Comfortable but dated

The condo was comfortable and had everything we needed but the facility as a whole is dated. The staff at check-in were terrible- checking in three people at once (inefficient at best) and one was telling a guest a story about being so drunk he had to have his stomach pumped. When we arrived at the condo the door was open and the floors needed to be swept. It was clear they had not finished cleaning. The A/C didn’t pull out any humidity so our bathing suits and towels never dried after being hung up overnight. We were glad to be at the beach during such a crowded season and happy to have found an affordable place to stay so we got past the annoyances. It’s an excellent location with a nice beach area including umbrella and chair rentals.
