Clean room. Friendly and helpful staff. The room I was in has a much bigger size bathroom - toilet/powder room separated from the deep tub n shower. This is great news for those who are not used to those modular bathrooms. The only critic I have is if the hotel could at least provide their guests a bottle of water upon check in - like a welcome drink would be nice!!

I recently stayed at this hotel and was disappointed with the room’s air conditioning. It wasn’t working properly, and despite speaking with the staff, I was told that “this is just how air conditioning is in Japan.” However, I’ve stayed at other hotels in Japan, and their air conditioning worked perfectly fine, so this explanation didn’t make sense. Because of the poor temperature control, the stay was uncomfortable, and the response from the staff was not very helpful.

We were happy with our stay at Via Inn Nagoya Ekimae. The hotel is within walking distance to Nagoya Station, restaurants and shopping centers. The area was lively at night but we felt safe and it was quiet from our room. The hotel was clean and modern. We stayed in an economy double room which had enough space for two people with two suitcases each. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and checking in and out were very easy. Highly recommended!

It is a 11 min walk from Nagoya Station. Very safe to walk around and lots of restaurants open late. Highly recommended!

Nice for the cost of the night I'm surprised the area is quiet considering what's around it. 5-10 walking minutes to the shinkansen entrance its definitely it's strongest point
