320 - Dog-Friendly Nags Head Rental Directly Across from Beach Access!

320, Flip Flop, is a Nags Head rental home that is directly across from beach access! This rental home provides three bedrooms with various sized bedding to accommodate medium family sizes. The great room allows for plenty of seating for large groups and opens up to a covered front deck for relaxing outdoor seating in the shade.

Being located at the border between Nags Head and Kill Devil Hills, this OBX Rental Home is located in the heart of it all, within minutes to restaurants, grocery stores, golf (including miniatures golf), historic sites like the Wrightbrothers Memorial and Lighthouses, and so much more!

This home is also an Outer Banks Dog-Friendly Rental Home, so bring your "extended family" along with you! Dogs are allowed for an additional fee of $125 plus tax.

Non-Family groups are welcome with a refundable $1,000 deposit!

Perfect location right across from public beach access. House is a bit dated but had all the essentials. Beds are a bit uncomfortable but that was the only downside. Highly recommend.

Great simple cute super clean beach house

Beautiful and clean house! We really enjoyed our stay! It was cozy but not tiny! Right across the street from the beach access. Love the outdoor shower and being able to rinse off after a day at the beach. The house was close to everything we would need and restaurants. We could even hear the waves at night. We also loved all the little notes around so we could find things and we got to enjoy the griddle for a nice breakfast around the table. All in all the Flip Flop is definitely a win and maybe our new family flop spot! Thank you so much for letting us enjoy your house! It was clean, simple and felt like home as soon as we walked in!

Needs a deep clean

Great location & easy access to the beach. This house is dated. I believe we were the first renters for a while because there was a smell when we first walked in (no big deal). Went to open the windows to get some air flowing through and the amount of dust & dog hair in each window was gross. There were bug traps on the kitchen counter & dog hair on just about everything. It is a dog friendly home, which is what we needed, however the house was not properly cleaned from the last stay. We couldn’t get the TV in the living room to work, which was fine because we really didn’t need it. Once this house is cleaned well & some simple updates it would be perfect. The location is great and home had everything we needed for our stay.

No remote to watch TV. Bathroom smelled like urine was soaked into the floor. Dust webs hanging from The ceiling. Items under beds from previous guests. The house was dirty. We will not book with cove realty again

AMAZING

Beware the outdoor shower

The planks you stand on in the outdoor shower were rotted and some had completely fallen apart leaving rusty nail heads that can be stepped on. I had to wear sandals in it to protect my feet.

Can’t beat this relaxing location!

The property was as pictured. It was just the right size for our small group. Very clean. The location is outstanding! Not only across from beach access, it’s also a lively walk to Gallery District in one direction and Kill Devil Grill and other places in the other. Property management was outstanding! It is a bit retro inside; but WiFi & TV were modern.

Mattress was TERRIBLE

Prefect little beach house. Location was great. Beach access right across the street! Dog friendly but wish it has a fence. Few things that need to be fixed/changed -We were unable to sleep in the master bed for how incredible uncomfortable it was. VERY hard and stiff. Very disappointing. -None of the door knobs worked properly. A few time where we couldn’t even get the doors to open. Have a crawling baby it was a safety hazard.

What you see is what you get.

The property is just as it is shown. The decor is dated, but it was very clean and the location was great. Beach access right across the street. You’re in the heart of OBX with easy access to Jockey’s Ridge, the Wright museum, and lots of good restaurants. And Nags Head beaches are super dog friendly if your furry friends are traveling with you. We had a great stay!

A nightmare

An hour after check-in Saturday we checked in the dishwasher & found old food and mold. Filled to clean and it flooded the kitchen with bubbles & smoked. No mop was avail so we used towels and threw them away. A call to the emergency # at Cove Realty was not returned. A repairman came on Monday and fixed D/W. We also showed him a rotted section of the deck which you could fall through (we covered it with a chair) which he returned later and repaired. Central Air was not working properly and 3 window units had been installed in the L/R, and 2 B/R's. None in the third B/R. Units did not fit in windows and rain blew in, heat came in along with bugs. Rugs in bathrooms were filthy, sand spurs were in mattress covers etc. (we did not use their linens). We had to purchase ant killer, light bulbs or be in the dark. A pack of bulbs in the house were burned out. A/C service came and said he told Cove the week before the entire central unit needs replacing but window units were used. It appeared the tub and both bathrooms had been wiped down but the kitchen dishes, pans etc were filthy. Dead bugs were in the silverware drawer, and the fly swatter was in the drawer with cooking utensils. The D/W man laughed when we showed him the large cobwebs on the light above the kitchen table. We were ready for Halloween. One night we spent time killing spiders on bedroom ceiling that appeared to come out of the a/c vent. The a/c company and Dan the repairmen were kind and did all they could do. Cove Realty left a message on my home phone which I received when I arrived home. Why didn't they call the cell ?? I was informed I should have called each time I had a problem and they would have sent someone.. My week would have been spent on the phone. Will rent from Owners from now on.
