Ten minute walk to public beach access. Quite private location with live oaks providing shade. Bottom level of a private home. One bedroom/one bath. Perfect getaway for a couple. Easy access to restaurants, shops, and local attractions. Walk to Nags Head Woods or Barnes Street Park. A short drive or bike ride to Jockey’s Ridge, Wright Brothers Memorial, and Nags Head Ecological Preserve. WiFi, and Prime Video. TVs are also set up for your other steaming services. Kitchen with all essentials ready for your culinary needs. Washer/dryer. Top level is a home business with a separate entrance, which is not lived in. The bottom level is all yours.

Nice cottage

Nice place for 2 people. Very clean, bed was comfortable, easy check in and out.Great location more or less centrally located for all the attractions. Close to restaurants and shopping. Quiet neighborhood. Host was very responsive. The only drawbacks were lack of kitchen supplies and linens. Only 2 threadbare towels provided 2 washcloths 2 hand towels. Bring your own towels if you stay here. Minimal amount of cooking supplies except for spices. Also only a 5 cup coffee maker.TV in living room has no volume control and if you mute it you have to turn off and on again to get it unmuted. I would stay here again.

This place was perfect. The host was absolutely wonderful and accommodating there was a slight issue on check in but was quickly remedy and meg went above and beyond to make it happen. This will definitely be my new go to place when staying on the outer banks.

Unimpressed. House needs some updates. Floors need to be cleaned. Needs more cooking utensils in the kitchen. Feel the cleaning fee is a little extra. We have to strip bed, put on laundry, take out trash, wash dishes.. we are basically cleaning all we used. Cheaper to stay at an extended stay.

Nice quiet place-secluded yet close to everything.

The house was very nice and equipped with most everything we needed. Although we didn't do any cooking there are plenty of cookware and utensils. The rooms were very clean. It was perfect for a couple to get away and enjoy the serenity. There are plenty of excellent restaurants within a few minutes driving (and we ate at a different one most every day). There's a public beach entrance about 3 or 4 blocks away. We would stay here again if we came back to Nags Head.

OBX Getaway

The property was nice and clean and the bed was super comfortable. It is close enough to the beaches to easily drive there in a couple of minutes and far enough away to avoid the inflated cost of rentals on the beach.

Well appointed property. Adequate for our stay and day trips to various areas of the outer banks. Kitchen was a little slight on cooking equipment but manageable. TVs were a little complicated but we managed as our preferences was outside on the darling back porch.

~*Magical Forest Getaway*~

Location was unbelievable. The garden was breathtaking. The mattress was perfect. I had a Saved By The Bell Marathon, created my annual vision board with plenty of room to work and did yoga and had unbelievable photographs throughout the space to use as visual meditations. Who could forget the VIP parking! The internet was top notch as I hosted Zoom meetings effortlessly and they provided a lot more supplies than the other rentals do. The kitchen design is quite unique and fun. Book and game collection is superb. I would definitely stay here again. It is a very healing special place that will inspire you and unleash a creativity and self love beyond your wildest dreams. A part of me didn't want to share the review because I wanted to keep this secret garden all to myself : )

Although I could not go on our weekly vacation, due to an unexpected medical emergency, we had family members go in our place. They said the pictures on Vrbo didn’t give the place justice. They said it was a beautiful retreat. We’re looking forward to renting this again soon!

Fantastic spot for a getaway

The place was way more spacious and functional than we expected, making for an incredibly comfortable stay. Huge bed, quiet neighborhood, awesome layout with two porches and an outdoor shower that’s clutch for the summer. We comfortably walked our gear to the beach and back from this location and got in a ton of delightful meals all within walking/biking distance as well. We hope we have the opportunity to stay here again as this quickly became our favorite rental property of all our stays in OBX over the past 6 trips.

The house was clean and pleasant. The neighborhood was quiet. The public beach access is a 5-10 minute walk but you can drive in 2 minutes. There was always parking available at the Barnes Street beach access but we usually walked.

Perfect house for couple. Very clean and comfortable. Nice quiet neighborhood. Easy and quick access to Barnes street beach parking. Central location for Nags Head, trips north and south, restaurants, etc. Owner is very nice and communication easy. Highly recommend.

Nice neighborhood

The pros: lovely quiet neighborhood, clean, a good size space Cons: A pretty early checkout by 10:00am. The Roku tv remote in the living room does not work. We finally figured out the bedroom tv late Friday night. There definitely should be tv instructions by each television. All of the towels & wash cloths smelled very moldy, only (1) washcloth and (1) towel per person for a two night stay. We ended up buying towels at Homegoods. We were required to empty the trash, start the dishwasher, strip the bed and start the clothes washer before we left. In my opinon a cleaning fee should not be charged if you are expected to do the work yourself. There wasn't anything for coffee, nothing in the refrigerator as far as condiments or water of any kind. A completely empty frig. I think a lot of owners want rental fees but do not want to provide basic amenities and services anymore. It's like you are expected to pack your entire house and bring it with you for a day and a half stay, then clean on your way out. Standards in hospitality are gone these days.
