Perfectly located in the heart of Nags Head near Mile Post 13, this home offers sweeping ocean views, sunset vistas over Jockey's Ridge, and easy access to restaurants, shopping, and local attractions.

When you're ready for the beach, a public access (Small St.) is just approximately 700 yards away — an easy walk or quick drive with parking nearby — giving you the best of both beach time and private resort-style living back at the house.

The property is located in an area where you can walk to some restaurants. Beach access wasnt to bad as long as you are able to walk well. They do need to attend to some minor issues with appliances. Skillets stick terribley so you might want to bring 2 if you plan on cooking. But this was a minor thing that did not impact our stay in the least bit. The house is beautiful and we are already in the process of renting next year.

Good time

Very nice trip. Can only complain about tiny ants in mug cupboard. Not bad enough to call realtor. Rooms made all happy. No easy access to beach. Love 2 fridges, 2 dishwasher, 2 laundry rooms. Would recommend. Loved hot tub and pool. Ice makers didn’t work at first but you have to switch on, Duh. Loved all those porches.

The house was perfect for a large family!

Beautiful, spacious home! Ocean view but a bit of a walk or short drive to access the beach. The only issue we had was with the cleanliness of the kitchen and dishes. Overall a great trip!

Amazing vacation home for multiple families

Overall, the place was amazing! There’s a grumpy homeowner across the street who won’t tolerate any shenanigans. Steer clear of his property, his beach & his ocean! The walk to the beach is represented accurately- it’s slightly less than 1/2 mile to the first public access, where there is no place to park. There are other accesses where you can park, though. If you’re hoping for a quick walk to the beach with a bunch of gear, this is not it. About the house, overall it was terrific. There are a few things that could be improved upon to make it better, but nothing critical. Mainly: *there are 2 dishwashers side by side - one doesn’t work, the other is so mildewey and gross, we didn’t want to use it. *there is no garbage disposal. Kind of a pain when everyone is putting dishes in the sink and you have to keep fishing things out of the water. *most of the entrance locks don’t work. *most of the bedroom locks don’t work. *the left front burner on the stove doesn’t work. *there is a screen broken on a window at the entrance. *some of the toilets continue to run *two things the maintenance crew should probably be attending to regularly are, making sure the dryer lint traps are clear & the grease trap on the grill should be checked. I only mention these things to make the owner aware, not to complain. Wonderfully, every bedroom has its own bathroom. The living space is huge. Keep in mind that the main living space is on the third floor, so it’s a challenge for older folks with walkers. The pool & hot tub were a huge hit. The grill was great. Tons of pans, utensils & dishes. No spices, so bring your own. Super comfy beds. A TV in every bedroom (not that we used them). Clean sheets & towels provided. We had a great time!

Lots of space to social distance!

The layout of this house was great for our large group. Little kids had safe places to play, grandparents could escape the chaos and adults in the middle could stay up laughing and talking without waking up the rest of the house. But there was still sand on the floors from past visitors and trash blown around the property. We were told that the pool will be updated after the 2020 season and that's a wise choice. It seemed clean enough, but the liner was falling apart. There were a few knobs and things that were broken around the house and we didn't walk barefoot on the stained living room carpet, but the kitchen was updated and everything in it seemed clean enough to use. The water view was wonderful and the location was convenient, but the biggest drawback was finding parking in the public access lots if we didn't get down there until noon. The house itself was a great place to accommodate 13 of us without feeling squished.

Great OBX Vacation at Jockeys Ridge

This house was very spacious and easily accommodated 3 families (14 ppl) with room to spare! The top floor was the perfect place for all of us to have dinner, play games, hang out on the front deck and just enjoy our vacation. We loved that each bedroom had its own full bathroom! The kitchen was very well stocked with 2 toasters, 3 coffee makers, 2 dishwashers, a ton of great cookware and nice knives (which are always a must if you are families that cook in like us). The pool area was nice and even has an outdoor half bath which is great so no one has to go inside and track water everywhere. Also if you like to grill, which we do, the Weber grill was awesome! Our only complaints were that in the pictures there is a volleyball court out back but when we got there we found there was no sand and no net which was unfortunate because one of the amenities we looked for when booking was a volleyball court. Fortunately the neighbors were very friendly and said we could use theirs and even joined in games with us on 2 evenings. The other complaint was that on the map the public beach access looked a lot closer than it is. It’s about 700 yards down but on the map it looked like only about 100yds. Fortunately we brought a golf cart with us to help transport beach items and people down so if you have small children or anyone in your party who cannot walk that distance, be prepared to work around that somehow. There is a small public parking lot diagonally from the beach access if it isn’t full so that is an option as well. Overall, fantastic home and vacation!!!

Good house for a large family.

House worked well for us. Only deficiency is no beach access. A previous comment said a "nice" neighbor would let you cut through. The nice neighbor must have moved. There is a house being built across the street. We cut through after the work crew left and the neighbor called the police on us. Beach access is about a mile away.
