The Stoddard house is as rich in history as it is in appearance. Built in 1898, this classic two bedroom house retains it's original grandeur with mature gardens, vaulted ceilings throughout, double parlor and Red Fir floors. Not your average vacation rental, this house is exceptional in every way. The attention to detail and quality will be a memorable part of you wine country experience. Among the homes cache of treasures is are bouquets of glass flowers suspended form chandeliers, and an eclectic mix of over one hundred years of chic include contemporary, Asian, Victorian and Art Deco furniture and fixtures. Settle in with a book in the library, soak up the sumptuousness in a bath, unwind outside in the gazebo with a glass of Napa Valley bubbly or meet in the parlor and revisit the pleasures of conversation.

A short drive to St. Helena Hwy and just a 10 minute walk up historic First Street to the heart of downtown

We loved our stay in this beautiful 100 year home! It was spacious, clean, comfortable, and stayed warm during the cool, rainy weather we experienced while there. It was in the perfect location for us to explore and enjoy the Napa Valley area. It was minutes from the downtown Napa area and from the highway to easily access the fine wineries and restaurants all up and down the valley. The host was very responsive to our questions prior to checking in, and checked in with us once we settled in the see if there were any issues or concerns. This will definitely be our top choice to stay in on our next trip to Napa!

Napa getaway

We booked Stoddard House as a home base for our wine country vacation. The location was ideal, walking distance to downtown Napa, and very close to the main highway. The house was clean and comfortable, just be aware that it was built in 1898, and retains much of the original feel. Jason was a very friendly and communicative host.

Great location

Took a girls trip with my mom and sisters! We chose this house because it’s location and beautiful history and charm - big hit with my mom. Plenty of space for the 4 of us, and there was a perfect spot for us to play cards/games each night. Communication was excellent, parking was easy, and within quick driving distance to anywhere we wanted to go.

We loved our stay at Stoddard House. The location was an easy 10 minute walk to downtown Napa. The house itself was very spacious and well-equipped, plenty of room for four of us. We loved spending time in the beautiful outdoor spaces, but were even more charmed by the history and character on the inside. I would definitely stay again.

Beautiful Napa gem!

The Stoddard house was just perfect for a trip to Napa. The living and bedrooms were comfy and welcoming. The outdoor area and front yard were beautiful. Very safe and quiet neighborhood. We needed a little guidance with the refrig alarm and thermostat and Jason responded quickly to our questions. A few extra directions for the convection oven could be added to the information binder. Thank you for a wonderful stay in Napa!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Stoddard Home. The house is very nice and the garden is lovely. About a 15 minute walk to town. We walked to town each night for dinner. Would definitely return.

We enjoyed staying at the Stoddard House in late June. The location was very walkable to downtown Napa, and convenient to 29 to jump up to Yountville and other Napa Valley villages. Excellent host and accommodations.

Amazing Character and Charm

This house has character and charm. From the wood floors to the seating area in the backyard. You can spend time away from the house to enjoy NAPA, but don’t overlook hanging out with a glass of wine and your family/friends at this amazing location.

Clean, beautiful, and awesome location. Beautiful front and back yard with covered sitting area in back and several areas to lounge. Inside home is beautiful with unique character and so many rooms to spread out! Walking distance to downtown Napa! Highly recommend!

Amazing Napa Cottage

The Stoddard House is an absolute gem! It delivers on every point - historical past, glorious gardens, great (walkable!) location near downtown Napa! And then, you enter the home to find sumptuous linens, dreamy bedrooms, and the most perfect breakfast nook for morning coffee! Cannot say enough good things about this place. It is truly the highlight of our fabulous girls trip to celebrate my daughter’s college graduation. We will certainly return to this magical property!
