The staff were friendly and the hotel was nicely renovated in an Arr Deco retro cool theme, plus it’s located in the middle of town so an easy walk to cafes and shops.

I was welcomed on arrival, staff were excellent, whenever you went pass one they said good morning or afternoon have a lovely day. my room was very clean. I was there to relax so was disappointed that they did not have prime, Netflix or sky. Like all other places I have stay recently they did not have the option to have light milk in the fridge. I would however definitely stay there again.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Masonic Hotel! The decor and atmosphere were amazing, it was like stepping into another era, surrounded by the old chic feel, but everything still well maintained. The location close to the ocean, dining and shops were a plus. We’ll definitely be back!

Service was very good. Good experience. Definitely an older hotel. Air conditioner not working correctly. They did come and check. Gave us a portable heater. Potentially would have been better to either change orbupgrade room, or get some compensation. Extract fan in bathroom not great to remove steam. Overall enjoyed the experience and will book again. Architecture and styling was very good.

Loved the character upstairs, downstairs staff are to die for and the dark bar sets such a sultry mood. Only fault is the aircon needed a clean as it made our quaint room smell musty.

This is an Art Deco hotel right in the middle of the Art Deco area of Napier. It is part of the Art Deco walking tour and is worth it
