Breakwater Cottage is a 3-minute drive to Ahuriri, known for being a vibrant seaside hub for cages with lovely views of the port, local art and plenty of charming shopping spots. Or a 4-minute drive, around the point to the east will have you in Napier central!
Where location, location, location meets relaxation - Breakwater Cottage awaits! As the property has unfenced access to the main road and train tracks, adults are encouraged to closely supervise young children while outside. Please note due to the proximity of the train tracks and port, some times of the day can be noisy. Please note a bond may be charged at certain times of the year. One of our team members will contact you if this is required for your booking.
There were quite a few cockroaches in the bedrooms and kitchen cuppboards. The tea and coffee canisters were empty and the single bed in one of the rooms when laid on the springs stretched down nearly to the floor so it was unusable. There was an aweful shower curtain that clinged to the body when showering. When we got there we didnt realise it was across the road from a seaport and you heard trucks coming in and out all day and night. If it's for a short stay maybe it would be ok.
A clean and tidy location near Ahuriri and the port. The buzz of the port action was great to see, and the accommondation was clean, tidy and well appointed with everything we needed. A short easy walk to the cafes at Ahuriri. Good to have a break away.
Comfortable, convenient , spacious accommodation with scenic views on a busy road but not a problem, handy to ahuriri and the main city, hope to book again but itâs popular
place was really nice, if you're there during the day during the week it would be noisey due to logging trucks and trains but if your there over the weekend perfect place to stay.
Great location for walking along walking front and into town centre.Great spot for holidaying with family or friends. Brilliant Indoor/outdoor flow and living areas.Stunning seaviews.Very close to lovely Ahuriri area full of restaurants, bars and cool shops.Only negative close proximity to the port.
