Tired and dated

Positive comments: lady at reception was friendly; accommodation cost was low; motel is only15 minutes walk to the centre of town. Negative comments: room and whole complex is terribly dated and tired (think early 1980’s chipped laminated cupboards and marked carpet etc); there is no air conditioning so our upstairs unit had sun all day and was very warm (summer would be very uncomfortable); bed was very firm and uncomfortable; fridge door rubbed on carpet when opened and made strange noise at odd times.

The accommodation was a bit tired, but spotlessly clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The pool was very tempting and the laundry very useful.
