It’s Naples, so a very nice hotel closer to 5th Ave S was super expensive. This was pricey for its condition and quality. My main complaint is the beds and pillows - they were so uncomfortable we stayed for our second day, but chose to drive home 2 1/2hrs to sleep. The few staff we interacted with were nice. Air conditioner in room will freeze you out when on, then leave you hot when it cycles off; no even air flow and it was very loud; but we were at end of building and had a patio so maybe main unit was outside our specific room.

Exceeded my expectations!

I booked this hotel because it was fairly close (1 mile) to downtown Naples and because of it's price. Honestly, my expectations weren't too high - it's just a Holiday Inn Express. I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel, however. It had a very nice pool/hot tub and tiki bar area. Best of all, the room was new, well kept, and had a ton of countertop space for all our stuff. The breakfast was also good. I would definitely stay there again. By the way, downtown Naples has a free parking garage - plenty of parking unless you get there after about 6 PM.

Excellent location, within easy walking distance to bars on the Bay Front and next door to the Olive Garden and IHOP. Our room was kept spotlessly clean by the housekeeping staff and, the bed was comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and well stocked. We enjoyed both food and drinks at the Tiki Bar, when it was open. The staff we encountered were always friendly. The hotel exceeded our expectations. We would return in a heartbeat and have no hesitation in recommending the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Downtown Naples.

Every thing at this the location was great and the property was like new. The one bedroom suite was large but the floor plan was poorly planned. A lot of wasted space in the living room that would have been better used in the small bedroom.

The Holiday Inn Express was a decent hotel experience. The staff was always very nice and helpful - they were a definite plus. The breakfast was good - they provided a good variety - everyone seemed happy. Parking was good - not great. The hotels nearby weren’t as nice - there isn’t anything Holiday Inn could do about that, of course - so we preferred parking directly in front of the hotel, where the lot was well-lit and appeared to be monitored. That wasn’t always possible…so we were uncomfortable parking our car in the rear of the hotel some nights. Finally - I understand that we were in Naples…and on an extension of 5th Avenue…but the hotel felt overpriced for the experience. I want to be clear - it was a nice stay…and we would return…but it was expensive. There were 2BR 2BA VRBO properties nearby - we would probably give those a try next time…they were slightly less expensive. But thank you for the experience.

It wasn't the "best". The check in took a long time and it seemed like the young man had a few difficulties. The drinks at the Tiki bar were as high as the Ritz Carlton which was right on the Gulf and the view was amazing. So the bar at the Holiday Inn Express, should have been much less!!

We loved our stay here and have already recommended it to others. The location was perfect for walking to downtown Naples. Breakfast was awesome! We loved the pool area, although the hot tub could have been hotter. We also would have appreciated being able to grab some coffee and tea before our early flight, but none was available. Even so, we enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly.
