ïżŒSAND HILL COVE- Neat, clean and WALK to the Beach!!! Comfortable size house with 3 baths, outdoor shower, large private deck with table and ample chairs, enclosed three season room with furniture and table to sit and relax, ample off street parking, kitchen with granite counters, microwave, stove, fridge, toaster, blender and ample utensils, hardwood floors, central air and washer/dryer. Living room has a large 55 inch HDTV, High Speed Internet/ WiFi through out the house and a 40 inch HDTV in the back room for the kids. Walk to restaurants, pubs, famous Iggy's dough boys and Chowder House, Aunt Carries Restaurant, ice cream, pizza and more. Galilee is only a mile away with Ferry service and even more restaurants. The furnishing are all in good condition including nice beds for a good night sleep and to relax the way a vacation should be. 3 bedrooms on second floor with full bath and 1 bedroom on first floor with 2 full baths, with back room perfect for kids with TV.

The neighborhood is quiet and perfect for families with a very short walk to the beach around 5 minutes. We have beach chairs, beach wagon and towels.

From Nov 1 to March 31 the following are not available:
There is no TV service.
Internet is on and streaming should be available, but not guaranteed.
There is no outdoor shower.
Deck, patio set and outside seating is not available.
Grill is not available.

House was very clean. Plenty of space and bathrooms. The yard was well kept and private backyard was great for morning and evening gatherings. Location was excellent regarding distance to multiple beaches and Galilee was only 5 minute drive!

Wonderful vacation house! Kitchen is well stocked with plenty of dishes, glasses and utensils! There was plenty of room for our 3 couples and 5 grandchildren. The beach carts made it so easy to walk to the beach!

Girls Getaway

We were 7 friends on a girls getaway. With 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms there was plenty of room for everyone. We also enjoyed breakfast on the deck in the mornings and wine and snacks in the evenings. The home looked just as nice as in the pictures and the beds were very comfortable. The area was close to the beach and plenty of restaurants close by. It was also close enough to visit lighthouses and Newport sights. We would definitely return if we are in the area again.

Fantastic Family Friendly Home

This beautiful home was everything we expected and more. The bedrooms were cozy and well decorated. The kitchen was fully stocked so I was able to make all of my family's favorite meals. We were also fortunate we had beautiful weather and could walk daily to the beach to enjoy the views. Very rare for November. We were there to spend time with my 1 son who attends URI which was only a 15 minute drive to campus. If it was the summer, they had ample beach chairs and a cart to bring your items to the beach. The furnished screened in porch was also a wonderful bonus. We would most definitely rent this home again. Check in was easy and the owner allowed us to check in early due to our long drive. Extremely accommodating. I met some of the neighbors and they were all super friendly to me and my family. Great neighborhood for folks of all ages. It was a wonderful weekend with my family and friends. Thank you so much for opening your home to us.

LOVELY home and a wonderful stay!

We had a fabulous Girls' Weekend to celebrate an upcoming milestone birthday, and the house comfortably accommodated 5 of us (we're usually 6 and were down 1, but we initially booked for all 6 and would've been just as comfortable with one more person). We were able to bring food and cook some meals to save on eating out. Linens were clean, beds were comfortable, showers were great! We did end up washing any dishes before we used them because they felt a little greasy, but we probably would've done that no matter what. We had a great stay!

Great house and location for a long weekend!

We had extended family stay here for a long weekend for my brother's wedding. The house was lovely. The location was amazing, close to the beach and to many restaurants but the neighborhood was quiet. We would definitely come back to stay again, and highly recommend!

Burial at sea

This was the perfect location for our 8 adults to stay for the weekend to send off our passed love ones ashes out to sea. Plenty of parking quiet, neighborhood, walked to a secret beachcoming area not far from house. House was super clean, welcoming, spacious, plenty of bathrooms, awsome shower,cute screen room and great grilling area. It was just perfect. You wont be disappointed. It was a 3min drive to ice cream or ferry or georges rest, salty brine beach. Mins from gas and stores ecct.such a friendly neighborhood. We all stayed here and had a navy Tapps service in a nearbye parkinglot and then boarded snappa charters for a buirial at sea with captain charlie. Highly recommend him.this was such a beautiful way to say goodbye.everything was perfect. I have zero complaints and believe me a rent lots if vacation homes.this is one of my favorite places to stay.

Extended Family Beach Vacation

We had a great week at Derek’s house. There was plenty of space inside for everyone. We used the futons as beds for the kids. Having 2 inside entertainment rooms was great, the children could watch a movie or play a game in the back room and the adults could be chatting in the main living room. Proximity to the beach is great, about a 7 minute walk, we used a wagon so the 3yo didn’t have to walk. We preferred the beach to the left of the main Roger Wheeler beach, it was slightly less crowded. The yard space is limited and we didn’t utilize it as much as we could have, but we did enjoy the screened porch. There was a beach wagon, umbrella and 8ish beach chairs. The outside shower is nice to rinse off the salt/sand. A previous beach house we’ve stayed in had a hand held shower head in the outside shower which was nice for a quick foot rinse and for the little kids- could be a nice addition. Kitchen is well stocked, we brought foil pans for muffins and casseroles and a crockpot for easy meals. The large dining table with additional seating in the kitchen made family meals easy. There are 5 parking spots at the house, we parked a car in Galilee one night near the ferry, very easy and close. Derek was easy to communicate with and quick to respond to all questions.

Perfect place for a family!

Derek's home was perfect for our family; the set up is wonderful. The placement of the bedrooms worked really well. The fact that there are 3 full baths is amazing. We loved spending time on the deck. The neighborhood is very quiet. We would definitely stay there again.

Great for Large Family

We have a large family and were still able to include additional family and friends and such a great value. Quick walk to Roger Wheeler beach (pro tip go all the way down to the western end of the beach for better sand, no seaweed, and no rocks). Well laid out house and was very well equipped. Kitchen was fully functional and stocked with all the cookware needed for any meal. Plenty of spices and stuff in the cupboards. Beds were very comfortable, tons of extra pillows, linens, towels. loved the outdoor shower. Central Air was excellent. Nice deck with plenty of shade and table with umbrella and plenty of chairs. No complaints whatsoever! And...Derek was super communicative. Overall excellent experience. Thanks Derek

Perfect beach house

The house was well equipped with everything you need! The house was very clean too! Perfect setup of bedrooms especially if 2 families renting together ! Backyard & deck gives you privacy too! The neighborhood is so quiet !! Neighbors were really nice too! The kids highlight was the ice cream truck that comes around !! Can’t wait to rent the house again !!
