Updated house

The house is cute, well cleaned and updated. However, it felt like we were staying at someone's primary residence as there was clothing and shoes in the closet, pantry items in the cupboards, and multi-use bottles in the shower. There were no house manual or welcome notebook provided in person to tell you about the area, suggestions for restaurants/museums, etc. I was told "it's all in the house listing". There were no mention of what to do with dirty dishes, nor was a broom located to help clean the dirt from our shoes from coming in during the rain. The blanket on the couch had a horrible smell to it. We enjoyed Nashville, but felt we were intruding in someone's personal house instead of a rental. The house is close to Broadway and historic Nashville, makes it convenient to get a cheap ride and save money from parking fees.

Holy monkeys why here?!?

This house is absolutely amazing! But the location isn’t the best. Every night you could hear gun shots going off and come to find out it’s not that far away. We never seen any neighbors or had anyone complain we played music til 10pm. Would I stay again?? Absolutely!! I would recommend that the living room bed either get a new mattress or trash that pull out, it was absolutely horrible compared to the other beds. The other beds where amazing . There was so many awesome aspects about this place . It’s sure close to Broadway like 5mins. There is a washer and dryer, soaps, towels and tons of other it’s that was provided. Can’t wait to book again!!

Great large home close to many Nashville attractions!

Two generously sized bedrooms with comfy queen beds, two bathrooms with showers and a main floor 1/2 bath. Comfy living room and four-person seating for dining table. Kitchen was updated and had everything we needed. Very clean, easy parking, great porch. We enjoyed walking to the Shelby Bottoms area and the park (1 mile), as well as downtown (1-1.5 miles), but the distance and being by industrial areas means you will likely need an Uber to go places at night. Easy check-in process. Thank you again for a great stay!

Inaccurate description of house

The house was nice and the location was great, but the house was not as advertised on VRBO. The description in rooms and beds say: (sleeps 8) 2 bedrooms queen beds with walk-in bathrooms and showers, one queen air mattress(1), one queen air mattress(1), queen pullout sofa bed-living room(1), sleep sofa futon(1). The site also says 3 bathrooms and we expected theses things. They only have 1 closet space to hang clothes or to put any clothes as there isn’t any dressers tables in either bedroom. What we assumed are closets in the house are locked except as I said for the 1. The house has great potential. We had a group of 6 full size adults and had expected based on the description to each have our own bed except for 1 couple. There were 3 air mattresses and none would hold air. A friend drove who lived 40 minutes brought us 1 twin blow up mattress to use for the first night but needed it back the next morning. The owner and I were texting and I told him I would appreciate a call. He called and while very nice he blamed VRBO for the incorrect description on the site. He said he had no complaints before. In my experience I have never had a description be wrong before. I even sent him screenshots of what I saw. This info has not been updated as of yet. He offered to refund us 1 night back while we were talking on the phone. The next day I texted him and asked about how much the refund would be and he replied, “I said I would reach out to VRBO on the status of sleeper/sofa/futon and ask for a recommendation.” He did supply us a thin full size air mattress and paper towels on the second day, but again when we booked and paid we expected to get what was listed in the description on VRBO. This owner doesn’t stand behind the listing it’ll his word on refunding us back one of the nights. I would never rent from this gentleman again and would only recommend this rental for maybe a group of 5-6 people w/the renter only expecting 2 beds, a pull out couch, a very thin full size mattress, 2 1/2 bathrooms. I would also note there was only 8 bath towels, 4 hand towels and 4 wash clothes. Yes we had enough bath towels and 1 hand towel per sink but only enough wash clothes for 4 people.
