Spacious Hendersonville Home – Sleeps 7, Prime Location!

Summary:
This lovely 3-bed, 2.5-bath house on one acre is a non-smoking property. Located 6 minutes from Glenn Brooke with Kroger, Target, and Kohl's. Indian Lake, with many dining options, is about 8 minutes away. Two pets are welcome with a $150 non-refundable cleaning fee. Note: the back of the garage is rented short-term but is separate from the house. Upstairs features one king bed in the room with a single bed.

The Space:
The detached garage is rented out as well. This is a completely different area that won't effect your stay at all. They do park in the same driveway.

Guest Access:
Guest get to use all the facilities including the yard.

Guest have access to the entire apartment.
No smoking is allowed. (Smoking Violation fee is $350)
Disclaimer: Please note that occasional Wi-Fi issues from the service provider may occur. The host will not be liable for any compensation due to lost Wi-Fi connections experienced by guests.
Local guests within a 50 km radius of the property are subject to approval.

Sleeping Capacity:

Standard capacity: 6 guests
Up to 8 guests are allowed with an additional charge of $15 per night for the 7th and 8th guests.
Guests over 2 years old need to be listed on the reservation. Unlisted guests will be charged $50 per person, per night.
Check-In/Check-Out:

Standard Check-In: 3 PM
Early Check-In: Requests before 11 AM are subject to availability and will incur a 50% nightly rate fee.
Standard Check-Out: 11 AM
Late Check-Out: Subject to availability with fees as follows:
50% of the nightly rate for check-outs after 11 AM
75% of the nightly rate for check-outs after 1 PM
100% of the nightly rate for check-outs after 3 PM
A minimum fee of $100 applies, whichever is higher.

Supplies: Basic essential starter kits are provided. For longer stays or additional needs, please plan accordingly.

Smoking Policy: A $350 fee will be charged for smoking inside the property, including cigarettes, vaping, and marijuana.

The house was perfect. The lights were turned on for us when we got there as well as the fireplace. The house was clean and well equipped with everything you need. The host provided easy directions to the property and getting in to the house itself. We would definitely use this home and host again on future trips.

I have never made this type of a review, but I do not want anyone else to have the bad experience we had. This property is not maintained at all. There are many safety and cleanliness issues in the house. There is a full time renter on the property, which made us very uneasy. I had read a review from 5 years ago that warned against this property. I thought surely it was all fixed, but that was not the case. Many of the issues in that review are still not fixed. I suggest you scroll on past this option, especially if you have young children.

Best thing about the property is the size and location. Very nice size common areas and bedrooms. Dishes were filthy, dead roach in bedroom, corndog stick on the floor right by the bed, giant booger and some other substance on the bathroom door. Broken tiles between kitchen and living area. Master bath had nasty sour smell like shower curtain or bath mats needed washed.

The property required an extensive questionnaire just after booking, which I've never experienced before. Felt a tad invasive. The property was easy to find, and the check in process was easy- we got the code and other information the morning of our arrival. There is a definite musty smell in the house, but it seemed clean enough. There are AC units in each room, which we loved because my husband sleeps hot. We had a prompt reaponse about one of the units, which needed its tank emptied- they were willing to come do it, but it was easy enough to take care of on our own. The master bedroom gets a TON of morning light! Bring a sleep mask.

Great location! Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. Could use some outside upkeep (the bushes in front of the property were very overgrown). Could use a fresh up inside of house before guests arrive. There were cobwebs on the ceiling and dead bugs on the floor. Get ride of bath mat in upstairs bathroom.

Big house for my family to stay while we waited to move into our new house. However the esthetics were sub par. Overgrown bushes covered the front of the house and there were dead bugs under some of the beds indicating they had not swept under them in a while. Some of the A/C vents were broken too. Fix those things and it’s a nice property.

Nice place to stay short term

Overall I rate this 4 stars. The outward appearance of this place is a little out of date. You get the whole house. The house does need a little work, which I informed the owners of. They weren’t aware of the issue identified. They provided everything you need to get the stay started. The host is very reasonable and responsive. My family enjoyed their time.

The house was in a nice location, clean. House advertised as sleeping 8, there is only enough beds for 7 people. Kitchen only has enough seating for 4 people at the table, no extra chairs for any guests to eat in kitchen.

Property looks and feels like it has never had a deep clean

The overall experience was ok. Having to send a deposit outside or vrbo felt weird/ off. But the place itself was so dirty. At first glance it looks ok, but when you settle in you notice the massive stains on all of the carpets, how much dirt is still inside of them (when barefoot). We couldn’t use the large tub listed in the photos because it also looks like it has never been cleaned. Super gross feeling, especially with infants. Most of the furniture is also worn down and has that gross feeling to it. It’s clear that this place is just a cash grab and not a rental property that anyone actually cares about. Would not stay here again.

Horrible Check-in process

Ckeck in process was deplorable. They said the system was down at the time; seems doubtful as one of the Property Reps agreed with me. Property needs some up keep, missing siding and metal on soffitt. Towels are limited and not placed in the bathrooms. No shampoo or soap dispensers. Remotes to the TV cable boxes did not work, ROKU did work. Swingset in back is not trust worthy. Nice neighbors.
