My happy place is nestled along Sycamore Creek and just around the bend from the Cumberland River. This peaceful waterfront property offers the perfect blend of nature, comfort, and outdoor adventure.

Less than a mile away, you’ll find the scenic Cumberland River Bicentennial Trail, featuring a trestle bridge and beautiful river views—ideal for walking, biking, or simply taking it all in.

A public boat launch is conveniently located less than ÂŒ mile away. Guests also have access to a kayak, an extra-wide paddleboard, and multiple outdoor living spaces—including a fire pit with metal rockers, a covered porch, a grill-side pergola, and even an outdoor shower.

Inside, the home features two comfortable bedrooms—a king suite downstairs and a queen bedroom upstairs—along with a newly updated bathroom with a walk-in shower. The downstairs living area includes a bar and record player, perfect for music, cocktails, and winding down after a day on the water.

Evenings here are something special—grill dinner, watch boats drift by, and listen to the sounds of nature (including the resident owl across the creek). End the night under a sky full of stars.

Beautiful site!

Loved the property - it was so beautiful and peaceful. Leaves were still changing colors, river/lake is so pretty behind the house. The house was perfect for us - Melisa even double checked what they had to be sure we had or brought everything we needed to cook a family Thanksgiving! While house is set up for about 4 people, we had 7 of us for dinner and it was perfect! Beds were comfy, lots of nice towels, throws to snuggle on the couch with. We'll be back!

Weekend with the leaves

It was the perfect place to come home too after a day of sightseeing. Beds were so comfortable. Loved the balcony and the view facing the river. We will go back and stay longer to utilize all the amenities available such as kitchen outside!

Honeymoon getaway

We loved this property. It is exactly what was expected. We appreciated the cleanliness of the house as well. We enjoyed the views and the over all welcoming essence of the house and property. A great weekend!

Lighten your step

Whether drinking coffee on the porch in the mornings or gathering in the gazebo by the grill in the evenings we thoroughly enjoyed this property. Lots of thoughtful touches and accent lighting. Especially smart to provide lights on all stairs on an unfamiliar property.

Perfect relaxing sister getaway

This is the PERFECT spot for a relaxing weekend! The first thing you notice is the picturesque outdoor setup right beside the River. There are plenty of spots to choose to lounge- around the fire pit, under the porch, the upstairs porch, by the outdoor kitchen, or (like we did) bring your camp chairs and sit out on the dock! The kayak was an added bonus and was a fun morning workout! We sat outside and read for the whole weekend, but inside was perfect, too! The kitchen is well stocked, the beds are comfy, and it is so clean! If I could live here, I would! Host was quickly responsive.
