When we walked into the room, the smell of stale air and cigarettes hit us. In a nonsmoking room. I immediately turned on the air conditioner. Then my husband took off his shoes and walked to the couch, and his socks were soaking wet. The carpet in the room was wet. I will never stay at another Wingate after this trip.

The hotel was very clean and the check in staff was excellent. Omly real issue was the bathroom door wouldnt stay shut. Otherwise, no complaints. Good location, quiet and safe area.
