Welcome to Calypso, our beautifully decorated 3 bedroom/3 bath condominium located in Beach Colony Resort West on Navarre Beach, Florida, directly on the Gulf of Mexico. At 1680 square feet of living space, our wi-fi ready 15th floor home comes fully equipped and furnished and offers exquisite views of the Gulf of Mexico. This condo also includes beach chair service (2 chairs/1 umbrella) for rentals March-October.

Calypso sleeps eight comfortably. The primary bedroom contains one queen-sized bed with an en suite bath that has a jetted tub and a separate walk-in shower. A second bedroom contains a queen-sized bed with an en suite bath. A third bedroom contains 2 sets of bunk beds and has a connecting door to the hallway bathroom, which contains a walk-in shower. The primary bedroom contains a 50'' flat-screen TV, and the other bedrooms contain a 50" and 42" flat-screen TV. For those days when the gorgeous view of the Gulf from the balcony isn’t enough, the living room boasts a 65” HD flat-screen Smart TV. Calypso also features a large kitchen with enough counter space to satisfy any vacation chef and a laundry room complete with a full-sized washer and dryer.
The Beach Colony Resort complex includes a wonderfully maintained Olympic-sized pool and fitness center, complete with a number of exercise machines to delight the fitness enthusiasts. For the anglers in your group, the Navarre Beach Fishing Pier, the longest on the Gulf, is located just down the sugar-white sandy beach, a mere five-minute stroll unless you dawdle a little to collect sea shells or to watch dolphins or cow-nosed rays frolic in the emerald green water. The pier complex includes a bar and grill, volleyball, and live music on the weekends.

Situated between Ft. Walton Beach to the east and Pensacola to the west, the Navarre area offers numerous dining choices on the beach and along Highway 98, some just minutes away like Andy D's, the Windjammer, Sailor’s Grille, the Grillhouse, East Bay Crab House (Mai Tai Grouper with just a hint of heat is a must!), Dewy Destin's of Navarre, Scooter's, the Cactus Flower, the Slippery Mermaid (best sushi in NW Florida), and TC's Front Porch.

For those interested in sightseeing and shopping, I recommend Fort Pickens on Pensacola Beach, the Naval Air Station Museum in Pensacola, the Zoo in the Tiger Point area, and Destin Commons and the Silver Sands Outlet Mall in Destin.

Annual family beach trip

We had an amazing time. The condo was absolutely perfect, and was everything we could have hoped for. Everyone had a great time, from the 70 year old to the 9 year old. Even the teenagers said they had a blast. I had contacted the owner about food recommendations, and she did not disappoint! I ate my weight in donuts and seafood! We will for sure come back!

Flawless stay!

Fantastic stay. Flawless experience. Great location, great short pier to beach and great pool with plenty of chairs and umbrellas. Large deck with wonderful Views of sunrise, sunset, beach and pool. Entire facility was well kept and up to date. Visiting Navarre beach for our daughters wedding 2 minutes from Condo at the public pier. family attending wedding Complimented on our condo. Has essential kitchen supplies and clean. Balcony is in need of additional furniture, on enough for 4 people to sit when you have room in the condo for 8. I would rent again. The owner is great to work with and communication is outstanding

Peace and relaxation-- Feb. 2021

Arriving at Patti's Calypso condo not knowing what to expect, we were pleasantly surprised by how seamless and simple the process was. The unit was everything and more as advertised. The view from the balcony was amazing as was the white sand and walks on the beach. Patti is an AWESOME southern gal that responds with your questions or concerns in a timely and professional manner. Can't wait to go back

Clean and Spacious

We had 4 kids and 4 adults and there was plenty of room for everyone. The balcony was very spacious and nice. Pool is larger than it appears in pictures. There were sippy cups and a pack-n-play. Very clean. The owner was very nice and accommodating. We have already reached out to rebook for next year.

Just as described. Beautiful condo. Beautiful balcony overlooking the ocean. The only complaint is the height of the bed in the second bedroom. Very high to get in and out. Only one of the 4 women could manage it.

Relaxing getaway

We loved our stay at The Calypso. The pictures don't do this condo justice. The floors were immaculate, which is hard to do while living amongst the sand. The view was amazing, and my kids enjoyed the bunkbeds. The worst part about our stay was that we had to leave. I appreciate the other review about the parking space being tight. We ended up parking at the top and had no problem. Thanks again for sharing this little slice of heaven with us, Patti!

Simply Beautiful

We had a wonderful week in Navarre. This condo is just beautiful. Very roomy and everything is high quality, kept up and clean. Patti, the owner was super helpful and friendly. We LOVED the bike room- kept us from dragging all of our sandy beach stuff up to the room! The pool was also huge and clean and refreshing. Only suggestion would be to make sure to bring some comfy beach chairs bc the chairs/umbrellas that are often included with condos were not with this one and we had a hard time getting one each day. Highly recommend this property!

AWESOME STAY IN PARADISE

The property was a blessing! Loved everything about the place. The ground (beach) floor has a huge gear room so bring your bikes and beach stuff, etc. Patti has two very nice short leg beach chairs in the unit. Truth be told I was so comfortable in the unit I didn't want to leave to go to the beach lol. Master bedroom has blackout blinds and its own sliding door to the balcony which has a fantastic view. Loved the sound of surf at night and the cool ocean breeze. Truly remarkable place. Truly.
