Gulf Island is a 1 Bedroom / 2 Bath Condo with Bunks in the hallway and a sleeper sofa in the living room. It has a queen bed in the bedroom and the bunks in the hall are 2 twins size beds. This condo sleeps 6 and has been upgraded with granite counter tops, new stainless-steel appliances and new furniture. It is located on the third floor; we’re sorry there are no elevators. Gulf Island is right between the Gulf and the Sound. So, it’s a short walk to the emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico or the calmer waters of the Santa Rosa Sound. Enjoy the community pool with a large sundeck with plenty of loungers for you to use. If you need more action, you can rent jet-skis, kayaks, paddleboard, bikes or scooters. If you’d rather fish, Navarre Beach boasts the longest fishing pier on the Gulf of Mexico. When it’s time to relax, the most stunning views of the Santa Rosa Sound can be seen from your balcony and even more amazing sunsets. There is a flat screen TV in the living room and in the bedroom with free cable TV and wireless Internet. There are 4 bar stools at the breakfast bar for casual dining. You have a fully equipped kitchen to prepare your favorite meals or try some of our local restaurants. This condo has everything you’ll need to make this the best vacation ever. We’re sure you’ll want to come back to make more memories again and again!

Everything was clean and tidy. Easy to get to and find. Only downside is the stairs (which we knew about in advance) and the TV and internet was pretty low quality. We kept having to unplug the router and plug it back in and even when it was working the TV kept buffering. Since there was so much rain there we just chalked it up to bad weather. We do not believe it was an owner or manager problem.

Wonderful Stay – Highly Recommend!We had a great stay and will definitely be booking again! The condo is located in a quiet, family-friendly area, just steps from the beach and across the street from a hotel with a convenient coffee shop, bar, and ice cream spot.The unit was well-equipped, especially the kitchen, which had everything we needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we appreciated that there were no odors or unpleasant smells upon arrival.The only small suggestions we have are that the rugs and floors could have been a bit cleaner, and the welcome binder could use an update to clarify the check-out process (specifically that texting the maid serves as the official check-out). These were minor details and didn’t affect our overall experience.The owner was very responsive and easy to communicate with, which made everything smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend this condo for a relaxing beach getaway!

Great location. Great views of the sound and the beach. Overall nice condo. Cons: Only 2 spare roll of TP One trash bad but responsible for taking out the trash. No spare paper towels. Tons of instructions throughout the condo such as specific wash cloths for makeup removal. Pics of how to place dishes etc. On vacation things I prefer not to worry about. Next time just bring your own linens so you don’t have to worry about a charge for a stained linen. Sandy floor but otherwise clean and cozy. Very quiet property.

Nice Getaway

Overall a nice, clean, peaceful place. Merle was easy to communicacte with and quickly took care of a problem. The master bed was a little on the small side for two people. We enjoyed staying in this unit.

Gulf Island Unit 233

Overall a good place to stay, especially for the price. Everything was clean (although the walls look like they could use a painting, but that didn’t affect us at all.)The AC worked great. The kitchen was well equipped but we brought everything premade so we really just used the microwave. We could never get Netflix to work on the television in the den, which wouldn’t have been a big deal except that my sister has cancer and was inside more than people probably would be normally at the beach. I think the problem is the internet speed because it would go all the way to the point of playing the program and then just circle forever. (which wouldn't be the fault of the property managers) Merle was easy to reach and deal with. The view from the balcony was great. You see both the gulf and the sound. The property is on the third floor and there is not an elevator. The steps were easy. If it had not been for my sister, this would have been no problem for us, but just keep that in mind when booking. If an elevator is necessary, there is not one. I would book this property again.

We had the best time!

Everything was fantastic. Super clean, and a quick walk to the beach. The pool was lovely. We even left towels in the dryer on accident and the housekeeper was quick to communicate and ship them for us!

Best of both!

Cute little condo! Clean and well-maintained. Nice pool area never got too crowded. Walking up 3 flights was difficult at times, but our views were wonderful! Watched the sunset over the sound from our balcony, and we were able to easily see the flag color from our room. Just a walk across the street for gulf access. Location was great! Close to the pier, restaurants, and shopping.

We had a very nice time here. It was a great space to relax, whether that be on the balcony or cooking in the cute little kitchen and sitting around the bar area. Besides the stairs I'd say if you have young kids, teens or even young adults this is a great place to try out.

Lovely Beach Property

We have stayed at this complex four times, probably all owned by different people. This particular unit was very clean and comfortable. There was an issue with the internet being out , but that was the internet company not the unit or the complex. I was able to speak with property management about the issue. The instructions I received prior to checking in were clear and concise. We will definitely be back.

Perfect getaway for the family

We spent our spring break here. The condo was just across the street from a beautiful beach. Even though it was a big travel time we had no problem finding space at the beach for the whole family. Restaurants are great and in walking distance. Grocery is just a short drive away. Also within a short drive is a national park beach with plenty of natural beauty. A great spot to relax and refuel.

Honest review

First of all, I would give the location of this property a 5/5. It was close to everything, ie: restaurants, pier, beach and shopping. Navarre Beach seems to be a little hidden gem for us northerners. We absolutely loved it and will be back! The property itself was clean, but lacked the common amenities and personal touch that I have encountered in other rentals, ie/ hair dryer, beach supplies, etc. The condo itself could use a coat of paint overall, but it did have the basic necessities for a nice vacation. The TVs also may need a factory reset as they did freeze up a few times. I do not know the zoning laws or anything down there, but a grill would also be nice for eating at home. Overall, my partner and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves though and I do not want to take anything away from the property itself because I would stay again. Those were just a few recommendations from my perspective.

The Perfect Location!

This is my 3rd stay in this Condo! I return because of the perfect location to many things. Walking distance to restaurants and bars. Few minute walk to the beach. Short drive to the airport and shopping. Beautiful drive to Pensacola and the exploring we have done there. The Condo is affordable, newly remodeled and Very Clean! The host is easy to reach and quickly replies. My family always enjoys our stay here.

Perfect location to everything!

Recently took a girls trip to celebrate our 50th birthdays. I have stayed in this Condo before and knew my friends would also enjoy it. They all agreed it was the Perfect spot to walk everywhere we had interests in; Andy D’s (delicious!!) Loved the coffee shop in there as well. Windjammers, another bar/restaurant close by. Enjoyed walking the pier, the white sandy beach just across the road from our condo. And enjoyed the quiet bay behind our condo. We rented a convertible and drove along the ocean and beautiful beaches past Pensacola to Ft Pickens. We completely enjoyed our stay at this condo! I have reserved it agin for a short getaway over Christmas break ❀
