Beautiful property, loved the decor. Appreciated all the linens. The canal was in the backyard, view of the bay and ocean all from the back decks. Would definitely stay again.
The house was spacious and beautifully decorated. Layout was perfect for 4 adult couples-friend trip. Kitchen amenities were lacking for the size such as no oven mitts, only 2 dish towels, and not enough dishes/utinsils for the expected number of ppl. so we were washing dishes constantly. Also no basics like coffee filters were provided so we had to run to store early in AM just to go buy those which seemed a chintzy. Kayaks, outdoor shower were nice to have and beds were comfy. House was a little too far to walk to beach so we drove and parked at public access.
House is great for a long weekend at the beach, especially if you are looking for somewhere yo bring your boat. The house is nice and clean and has most things you would need for your stay. If you plan to cook meals at the house, just know this kitchen only has the basics. Lastly, if you are a boat owner the dock is greatâŠ. But be warned there are no cleats to tie too!!!
The property was amazing. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The beach was walkable but we advise to rent a golf cart for your stay as thereâs a place right off 98 near the property. Navarre beach ordinance allows golf carts so take advantage of that! We had a great time.
House was a great layout and fun walkable location. Kitchen utensils, dishwater, cooking dishes etc were all well stocked. There were very limited dish soap/laundry detergent/ shampoo etc. Adequate supply for a weekend stay however we were there 5 nights and had to purchase everything from soap to trash bags. Area felt safe and very relaxed. No beach chairs, beach towels nor other toys/supplies. We did not use the kayaks but there were 2! Please use public beach access not the path over the dunes.
We enjoyed our stay at the palms with our multigenerational family. The home was nicely decorated, very clean and well laid out. Only complaint was that the kitchen probably needs to be stocked a little more with things like oven mitts and dish cloths.
We had a great time with family at the beach. The house was perfect for the 10 of us. There were six adults and four grandkids (2 girls and 2 boys) so the bedroom and bathroom arrangements were great. The only issue we had was confusion with the lighting. There are so many lights and light switches, we had trouble determining which switches controlled which lights. One vacation rental we stayed in recently had labels on each switch. That made it very convenient for us old folks! All in all, we had a great visit and would recommend this property if you have a large group.
We enjoying our stay, but we wish the elevator would have been usable. We had a handicapped guest in our party who had to stay at a nearby hotel because we couldn't find a property with an elevator. It was still a 5 star property and we would stay here again.
The house is very nice it needs window treatments on the main level and a map to how to turn on lights. There are lots of lights and even more switches. The can lights need dimmers we didnât use the overhead lights in the bedrooms.
There were five lights out in the master bathroom, and the picket door was off the track.
After leaving two messages for the property manager I called and talked to a person. The handyman was out the very next morning on time and fixed what he could. He was awesome.
Now for the GREAT we really enjoyed the property there were games to play plenty of seating. Our grouper was 50+ year old husbands and wive. Having our own bathrooms was wonderful. The appliances were nice plenty of dishes we could have used a few more utensils.
They are still building the house next door the crew worked from 7am to 5pm and weâre pretty quiet for drywall we.
We would a stay there again
Overall we had a good experience, but could use some improvement. The downstairs windows need some kind of privacy shades/curtains. The walls were kind of trashed with marks all over them. Some of the towel racks in the bathrooms were barely hanging on. The master toilet room door was broken and couldn't close it. You can walk to the beach, but I recommend driving if you have a lot of gear to take. We did enjoy using the ping pong table a lot.
House is very clean, roomy and with comfortable beds. Close enough to walk to beachâŠless than half a mile. Check in and out is very easy. Would be nice if provide more trash bags, dish soap, shower soap, detergent and toilet paper. Plenty of clean towels. We enjoyed our stay from Sunday to Thursday. Bring bottle opener if drink wine.
The house was amazing and had plenty of room for the whole family. The canal gave us access to the bay and fun fishing and kayaking for the kids. Beach access is super close and the beaches are stunning. We had a great time and already miss it.
The are building a new house right next door to this place. So you will be up every morning at 4:30 am. To hammering and construction noise. No blinds on the window so they look at you all day. And the ac unit does not keep up it get to 80 degrees inside during the day. Would not recommend
