"Unne" an apartment in Neckargemünd near Heidelberg

The “Unne” apartment (Odenwald dialect for “downstairs”) is located in the basement of a semi-detached house in Neckargemünd. The house has undergone extensive renovation in recent years, including energy-efficiency upgrades and the installation of new technology.
Solar power provides electricity and hot water, so we’re also well-positioned in terms of environmental and ecological sustainability!

Neckargemünd is located in the heart of the Kurpfalz region and the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan area.

The house is situated on the quiet Hollmuthstr. 72, in a scenic location on the Hollmuthhang hillside. It’s 100 meters to the forest, and the Neckargemünd Altstadt S-Bahn station is 1.1 km away—a 15-minute walk.

A covered parking space (carport) or street parking is available at the house.

A flight of stairs leads to the entrance on the garden level.

The apartment, measuring approximately 44 m², can accommodate 2 to 4 people.

The front door opens onto the porch.
Here you’ll find the coat rack, a daybed (that pulls out to sleep two), and an armchair.

Moving on to the studio: the kitchenette features a dishwasher, sink, stove and cooktop, coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, refrigerator with freezer compartment, microwave, and, of course, dishes and utensils.
There’s also a table with bar stools, a double sofa (converts to a bed), and a sideboard with a phone (unlimited calls to German landlines), a radio (DAB, CD, Bluetooth, etc.)
, and a Smart TV (50").
From here, you can step out onto the covered, open balcony or continue on to the bedroom.
The room is furnished with a double bed (180x200), a table with a chair, and a shelf.
Finally, there is the bathroom (windowless, but with a ventilation fan) featuring a shower, toilet, sink with drawers (hair dryer), and a towel warmer.

The base rate, including 2 guests, ranges from €81.00 to €89.00
An additional €25.00 is charged for each additional person.
The final cleaning fee is estimated at €60.00.
The city council has approved a bed tax of €1 per guest per night, effective as of 01.01.2022: with 7 votes in favor, 6 against, and 12 abstentions >> that’s democracy for you :-), and as of 2026 100%, the rate will increase to €2 per guest per night!?


Bed linens and towels are included in the price.
For stays of 7 days or more, we offer a 5% discount; for stays of 28 days or more, a 10% discount.

Booking through this portal incurs substantial additional fees.
(up to 15% of the booking total!!)

Linen change (do it yourself!) €15.00/person (bed linens and towels).

The apartment is equipped with a ventilation system, a central vacuum cleaner, and electric roller shutters.

Wi-Fi internet access (100 Mbit/s) and a telephone (German landline) are available free of charge.

Please note: this is a non-smoking apartment where pets are not allowed.

Your bicycles can be stored safely and dry in the utility room (formerly the garage).

We haven’t quite finished work on the garden area and its over 1,000 m² of usable space yet. However, you can literally “look right past” this from the apartment.
