Ca' del Buso Cottage
An old barn that is part of a property of the 1500s, finely renovated in 2012 and transformed into a precious and luxurious cottage. The property is located on a beautiful hill, overlooking Verona, in the heart of Valpolicella and in the middle of the vineyards of the most famous wineries of what has become one of the most famous wine in the world: the red Valpolicella. The numerous paths through woods and vineyards make it an ideal destination for lovers of walking and biking. The cottage is only 10 minutes from Verona, 40 minutes from Garda Lake, an hour and a half from Milan, Venice and the Dolomites; and it is also the perfect place to reach other important destinations such as Mantua, Vicenza, Treviso and the Lessini mountains. The house ( 200 sqm) is spread over 2 floors, with truly unique finishes. The lower floor consists mainly of two large rooms (and a small laundry room). The first is a former stable whose view is breathtaking. In fact, it has a barrel-vaulted ceiling with exposed stones. In this large room (60 square meters) you can have a meal, watch television sitting on a comfortable sofa or on comfortable seats that can become two beds if necessary. The other surface of the lower floor is the kitchen. Awarded several times for the truly unique combination of historical/ancient context and ultra-modern furniture, the kitchen has 2 of the 4 glass walls with a height of 7 meters, and is furnished with professional appliances. The hob (5 burners), the oven and the fridge are branded WOLF and allow cooking lovers to delight in preparing their favorite recipes or those typical of our country. We also offer the opportunity to live an amazing experience enjoying the expertise of a home chef with whom you can agree on the desired menu or take a cooking lesson. (On request / additional cost). The upper floor, on the other hand, is characterized by a large area of about 60 square meters, with exposed beamed ceiling, stone walls and antique wood flooring and is only partially divided by a wall and a double-sided fireplace that makes the environment decidedly scenic and romantic. The double-sided fireplace separates the master bedroom from the living area. The upper floor ends with a mezzanine consisting of a large bathroom with shower and Jacuzzi tub and a library. Included: wifi, washing machine, dishwasher, television, independent underfloor heating and cooling, parking. The cottage also offers a small independent garden. On request before booking, and at an additional cost, it is possible to take advantage of a private wellness area created in the former colonnade of this ancient courtyard of the '500. (The wellness area is only available from October, 1st to May, 15th).
The house is particularly well equipped.
The furnishings are high quality and very tasteful.
We really enjoyed our short time there.
Many thanks to the friendly landlords.
This property is a gem. The owners have restored the previous stable with great attention to detail to create a warm and inviting home. Much larger than the photos show, this property had everything we needed.
The owners were very helpful with restaurant suggestions and very friendly and engaging! I would highly recommend a stay here if you are in the Verona area.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay, from the moment we were kindly welcomed by our hosts to the day we had to go home. The cottage's history and thoughtful design, set against a backdrop of stunning landscapes, left us feeling refreshed and wishing we didn't have to leave! We appreciated the secluded location and proximity to the city, as well as the generous hospitality offered by our hosts. A highlight was the cooking class we arranged to take advantage of the incredible kitchen- an experience we'll treasure for years to come! Many thanks to our hosts! It was a lovely adventure!
Zumindest so lange alles funktioniert.
