The Location - This apartment is only 100m to the beautiful Shoal Bay Beach. Centrally located, guests have the option of walking to a range of bars, restaurants and shops along the Shoal Bay Foreshore (approx 1.4km away). The lovely little beach (1km away) offers visitors safe swimming for the little ones, shaded grass area, BBQ's and playground plus the popular 'Little Beach Boathouse' which serves great food for lunch and dinner. Golf enthusiasts are not forgotten with a 27-hole golf course and club house 2.6km from the apartment which offers a pro-shop with club and cart hire, restaurant, bar, gaming lounge and function hall. The Nelson Bay Marina and CBD are approximately 2.1km away where dolphin watch cruises depart daily, as well as parasailing, fishing charters and boat hire plus an abundance of boutique shops, cafes and restaurants.
The Apartment - Stylishly appointed throughout, this three bedroom air conditioned apartment provides easy indoor/outdoor living with bi-fold doors that open the main living area to the spacious deck, which overlooks bushland reserve offering an outdoor setting, gas BBQ and filtered water views to the headlands. The tiled living area offers a lovely leather corner lounge, large flat screen smart TV, DVD player, i-pod dock, split system air conditioner (heating + cooling) and WiFi. The modern kitchen comes with stainless steel appliances including a double door fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, oven, glass stove-top and plenty of bench space to prepare meals or platters.
The main bedroom has a queen size bed with built-in robe, ceiling fan, small wall mounted flat screen TV and a private ensuite bathroom with glass shower, vanity and toilet. The second bedroom has a queen size bed, built-in robe, ceiling fan and access to a private covered balcony with third bedroom also offering a double bed, built-in robe and ceiling fan. Modern and spacious unit (1/3), we stayed in the second floor. The lift opens into apartment. Two bathrooms. Ensuit better equipped for showers, other bathroom has a bath tub.
Good location. Walking distance (two blocks) to Little Beach and Shoal bay
Could not access free to air TV to watch local news, otherwise, good WiFi reception.
Better suited to Tech savvy people.

Stay Dates: 21–23 November The unit itself was lovely and well set out, but the cleanliness on arrival was extremely disappointing.The floors had clearly not been vacuumed, with sand everywhere. There was a large amount of dust throughout the unit, including on the bedroom walls and beside tables, as well as visible spider webs in multiple areas. The shower head did not function properly, as the top appears to be rusted, causing poor water flow. The oven had crumbs and old food inside, and the toaster was also unclean.To show the issues clearly, I left the dustpan filled with the sand we found on arrival, and I left the toaster out so it was visible that it needed cleaning. I also have photo evidence of everything mentioned.It was quite unpleasant to walk into, especially considering how nice the unit could have been if it had been properly cleaned. I would appreciate compensation due to the state we found it in.Overall the unit has great potential, but the poor cleaning standard really let the stay down.
Two members of our party have mobility issues, the floor plan online did not show any steps nor did the photos . The only reason we booked this place was because we were led to believe there was direct access from the carpark to the unit via lift and what we thought was a level space. To arrive and find that there were steps to navigate was extremely disappointing. We were able to get our family members onto the top level, but meant they were totally dependent on the rest of us to navigate to the bathrooms and bedrooms. Humiliating for them. When I discussed this with the property manager they said we should have rung to confirm, however, I disagree, the floor plan clearly shows no stairs and I should be able to rely on the marketing material as being correct. It was a shame this the incorrect information meant we were impacted and made our stay not as care free as we hoped. Please update your floor plan and photos to reflect accurately the state of the property.

Nice apartment, poor property management
great location, convenient and quiet, handy to beach, walking distance to Shoal Bay Area .
Nice apartment , plenty of room and reasonably well appointed and generally very clean. However , the air conditioning - heating in our case was not working . Not an issue in the bedrooms ,but the living area ( open plan and tiled floor)was icy cold . We reported it to management on the first day , they seemed disinterested but would report it and said maintenance would contact me - nobody contacted us during our 4 night stay Needed to rug up with extra layers or be under a blanket to keep warm. Also there seem to be a lot of condensation/ moisture running down the windows in the morning, lots of air fresheners in place to hide a musty smell from a damp problem, especially in main bedroom. A consideration if you or your party have respiratory issues .
Property management were difficult to contact re key collection and general info about linen etc . Despite sending messages and leaving voicemails they never replied.
I would recommend this apartment in the summertime, it would be fabulous! I would book this apartment again, but feel the property management need to improve their customer service .
