Situated only 600 metres to the popular Nelson Bay foreshore and beach which is perfect for children and families. Along the foreshore path there are picnic tables, BBQ's, fantastic children's playground, and water sport activities plus the dolphin cruise departure. This pathway takes you all the way to D'Albora Marina and Nelson Bay CBD where you will find an array of restaurants, cafes, boutique shopping.

Unit 2 is a beautiful unit with unlimited Wi-Fi, an open plan, air-conditioned living, and dining area that leads out onto the balcony where you can sit back and admire the water views of the bay or watch the children frolic in the pool.


There is a well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, family size fridge/freezer, Aldi coffee machine (BYO pods) and complete cooking facilities.

Two spacious bedrooms both with ceiling fans and a bathroom with a shower, and separate toilet. There is also an internal laundry with a washing machine and dryer. The unit has secure undercover parking for two cars, park the cars and walk to all amenities as everything is at your fingertips. .

The complex has a communal grassed courtyard area around the sparkling in-ground pool, the pool also has a fantastic wading area for children to swim. There is access to a public grass area out the front of the complex where you can sit and watch the beautiful sunsets. Although the unit is classed as ground level there are a few steps up from the entrance and parking.

Linen Packs consists of 2 flat sheets, pillowcases, bath towels, bathmats, hand towels and tea towels (BYO beach towels). The property provides pillows, blankets, and quilts.

Place was clean
 though we did find a past guests boxers in one of the bedrooms! Facilities were well kept and clean. Communication was simple and straightforward. Great spot near the marina close to local grocery and not to far from attractions and activities.

Positive feedback. Spacious, very clean, well maintained property, close to beach, ferries and boats. Lots of tourist locations and activities. Pool great. We had a lovely time thanks. Cons. Slightly annoying were locks everywhere to get in and out of building but obviously security is great. Airconditioning in living room but very hot in bedrooms at night even with fans on. Older people with mobility problems may find it hard climbing the steps.

Fantastic location and beautiful spot! Perfect for families!

Had a great week at poplars! Rooms were perfectly clean and plenty of amenities. Only things missing was a bbq and a hair dryer! A little stroll to the beach. Perfect for families.

Easter school holidays

Nice apartment. Awesome location. Enough for our family of five. Great water pressure. We loved having the rainbow lorikeets visit us on the varanda every morning. The only negative was that all the cleaning items like the vacuum, broom and the duster were filthy. So next time please check that these are not full of dirt for us to be able to use.
