Bed bugs found in my room, laid on the bed for 20 minutes and saw one crawling around next to me. I moved out and cancelled right away. Responsiveness from the hotel has been difficult for Expedia to refund the reservation. My friend also stayed and said he found roaches in his room.

Very disappointing. You could have a cold or boiling hot shower in the King Bed unit we stayed. Something seriously wrong with shower mixer. Unit tired…needs a face lift. Evidence of water damage in bathroom.

Don’t stay here

Not good at all. Beware as photos are deceiving. Potentially fake. A complete dive!! One towel for two people staying. No hand towels, facecloths, bath mat. So over priced. Would have been better off at a camp ground motel and would have been way cheaper. The hosts will deny the claims I’m sure. Also if you read some of the past reviews, they just don’t stack up. Fake as well probably.

Very friendly & helpful staff . The 2bedroom unit was in poor condition, mould on the ceiling of the bathroom, the oven still had crumbs & the icebox was unusable due to ice buildup.

Weekend Away

Nelson is a lovely place to stay. Weather was warm & a great vibe in the town centre. The motel has parking but it's easy to walk into the town centre. It was comfortable with separate little kitchen & bathroom. Nice cafe next to river about 5 mins walk from motel.

Never again!

From the get go there was next to none customer service. The managers were arguing as I arrived and carried on even after I rang the bell. I was not alone in hearing this as another guest told me they heard it too. When we got back from dinner there were 5 guests who could not get hold of anyone to give them their room. Other guests and myself helped them out by offering them beds in our rooms. I literally had 3 strangers sleeping in one of my bedrooms. The shower was clogged and didn’t drain away and the shower pressure was very low, hard to rinse hair out before the shower base overflowed. There was 1/2 roll of toilet paper with no spares. Overall an awful experience.

An OK stay

We booked a garden studio and were a bit disappointed to be backing onto the laundry and as such our bathroom smelt a bit fusty. Our outside space was also disappointing as there was a bench perched on uneven slabs so was not level and not really user friendly. The corner bath with shower over was a bit precarious to get into without a proper handrail to grab or curtain around either and the shower head was too low for me being 6ft. Overall we thought the place was a little tired and in need of an upgrade. Great addition of access to the pool.
