This very popular condo offers the best Guadalupe River patio in the heart of Gruene. Our place is perfect for friends, family gatherings with three bedrooms and 2 full baths. The back deck is extra large In order to accommodate larger groups and take in the relaxing sounds of the river below. El Patio Grande, unit 105, is located on the first floor, adjacent to the pool, in The Village at Gruene. The premier site for the perfect Gruene/ New Braunfels getaway located in the heart of Gruene, Texas. Unit 105 is the most requested unit in the complex because of the large patio in the back which provides the tenants with ample living space to entertain, eat and relax. We have an established reputation for providing quality linens and exceptional furnishings. This fabulous unit is a 3/2 with all the amenities a doting traveler would expect: the finest linens, two large Smart TV's and cable, granite countertops, finely appointed living area, a loaded kitchen for all of your cooking pleasures. The master contains a queen bed, a single pull out, and an attached full bath with tub and shower. One guest room has a very nice wooden bunk with a double bottom. The other guest room has A queen and a twin bed. All the mattresses are top of the line as the owner spared no expenses in his unit. A full washer and dryer including detergent is included for your vacation needs. A spacious patio overlooks the beautiful Guadalupe River. Additional amenities include the pool areal with a granite waterfall, a walkway to the Guadalupe where the guests may sit and watch the tourists pass on toobs, barbeque on one of the two grills or wade into the water to enjoy the cool waters of the Guadalupe. The complex is located in the heart of Gruene, Texas and is walking distance to all of the Gruene offerings including Live Music,Rockin’ R, Gruene Hall, and a wide range of restaurants boutiques and antiques! Historic Gruene — Walkable Texas Charm

Gruene is a preserved historic district known for its Texas Hill Country character, German-Texas architecture, shopping, dining, and live music. The official Gruene site describes the area as 15 walkable acres designated as a National Historic District, where visitors can shop, dine, and dance inside original township buildings.

A few guest favorites to highlights:

Gruene Hall — Built in 1878, Gruene Hall is Texas’ oldest continually operating dance hall and one of the most famous live music venues in the state.

Gristmill River Restaurant & Bar — Located beneath the Gruene water tower in the ruins of an 1878 cotton gin, the Gristmill overlooks the Guadalupe River and is one of the most iconic restaurants in town.

The Grapevine / Winery on the Gruene — Great for wine tasting, relaxing outside while listening to the live band, and enjoying the Gruene atmosphere. Our favorite place to sit is on the front porch so we can watch the activity.

Gruene Grove — A fun live music and outdoor gathering spot right in the historic district. A new air conditioned indoor bar area opened in March 2026. Also home to Rhea's Ice Cream.

Guadalupe River — Gruene sits along the Guadalupe River, and Visit New Braunfels describes the Historic District as being just upstream from New Braunfels on the cool waters of the Guadalupe.
Gruene Hall offers free band in the summer during the afternoon. There are also very popular ticketed evening shows.
