Lovely perfect place in New Castle

Came down for hunting 3rd rifle season and to see family. This place was perfect for my wife and I, and is big enough for our niece’s and nephew’s family and friends to have dinner and grill out. Central to block 33 for hunting, easy access to Rifle and Glenwood for shopping or whatever. Beautiful view behind the place with several deer that came right up to the porch. Washer and dryer were very handy for clothes after being on the mountains all day. Plenty hear from the mini splits. Absolutely wonderful, will definitely be back!

Outdoor feel with relaxing comfort inside

This property was great. Our family of four really enjoyed the time we spent here. The individual room cooling units offered amazing comfort during the afternoon July heat. The property was clean, private, and well stocked with all the amenities you would expect. My wife has it on her radar as a place that we would happily stay again which speaks volumes. The windows and deck that look out towards Mt. Medaris are 🔥.

Lovely property!

This house was the perfect location for our trip! Coffee shop and food walking distance and easy access to the highway. The house was clean, comfortable and the private view put the back windows was amazing! Would definitely stay again if we were in the area.

Lovely getaway.

I wish we could’ve stayed longer, the Mt. Medaris house was just lovely. Great location, absolutely gorgeous scenery out of the beautiful windows, lovely design of the space, I wouldn’t have changed a thing about our stay. Will most definitely be returning!

Hidden gem

The Mt. Medaris guest house is a hidden gem in a hidden location. The property was the perfect size for just the 2 of us. I loved the deck and looking up at the mountain immediately behind the property. Prior to this visit, I have never been to New Castle and discovered it is an adorable little town. Mt. Medaris is an easy walk to downtown. Will definitely stay here again.

This property was perfect. It had all the amenities needed for a weekend or week long stay. Short walk to old town for restaurants. The deck was peaceful and quiet for morning breakfast or coffee and and evening drink.

My. Medaris guesthouse

My family (5 total) and I enjoyed the modern amenities and style of this guesthouse. The view from the tall windows was wonderful and having 2 bathrooms made for an easier morning prep time. It was a short drive to glenwood springs where we enjoyed shopping and relaxing in the Iron Mountain Hot Springs. If in the area, it’s a great place to stay and unwind.

Beautifully crafted, artistically decorated, and conveniently located to enjoy upvalley and downvalley activities. Very comfortable, clean and a nice secluded spot next to the mountain. Enjoyed coffee in the morning and grilling in the evening on the back patio. Thanks, we'll be back!

Gorgeous place

Good place to spend time with family. The view is great, the place is clean and entertainments are plenty. Kitchen is great with ample dining area. The host, Vance, is very nice and very responsive. Great place to stay. We will be back again if we come to this area.

Getaway to Glenwood Springs Area

We absolutely LOVED this property! It was perfect with the large windows, great deck and view, plus the stocked kitchen, comfy living space, large bedrooms and private bath... this was a wonderful location for our trip away with friends. Plus it's an easy drive to Glenwood and we discovered some great restaurants right there in New Castle. We will be back!

Cozy Home!

Great experience at this VRBO! The place was nice and clean for our arrival and Elyse communicated all the instructions for our arrival. The back mountain sight was beautiful and got to see plenty of deer!! Perfect spot if you’re doing activities in Glenwood Springs just 12 minutes away.

We had a wonderful stay! The heat was off when we arrived as it was about 20 degrees outside so it took some time to warm up, but it was nice & cozy within an hour or so. The home was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed for our short 2 night stay. Very private, as it faces the mountains. Loved that it was less than 15 minute drive to Glenwood Springs. Would definitely recommend!

Beyond Expectation

We absolutely loved this home and did not want to leave when check out time came around. I can tell that the owners took their time to decorate the home and make it as comfortable as possible for their guests. The backyard mountain view was astounding, something we MN people are not used to. The neighborhood was very quiet and a good location. We loved our stay and will be booking again if we come back to Colorado!
