This Gorgeous Ocean Retreat with Playroom (one road from the sea) offers the perfect base for groups to enjoy a relaxing break by the coast and countryside.
Out and about you’ll find Sea Salt Chalet perfectly located to make the most of this beautiful spot on the southern edge of the New Forest National Park, a stone’s throw from the sand and shingle of Barton on sea beach.

Designed to be a true home from home, Sea Salt Chalet is a bright, airy and welcoming family holiday home set on a quiet residential street.
Fully equipped with everything you need for a relaxing break, the house offers open plan living with a large seating area – ideal for family fun or for a big group to celebrate a special occasion. Complete with TV, and a stunning fireplace, the living room is a relaxing haven to return to after a day exploring the local attractions with sandy feet
The property has four generously sized double bedrooms, a large kitchen-diner, a playroom and a well-maintained private garden.
The brand new Forest green countryside modern kitchen has a large island – perfect for entertaining – and is bright, stylish and practical.
Equipped with oven, microwave, coffee machine, dishwasher, new family-sized fridge-freezer and lots of high-quality crockery and utensils, it is a wonderful space to enjoy.
Likewise, the dining area seats 11 so there is plenty of space for everyone to sit and enjoy a meal together.
If you are staying with children you can make the most of your very own playroom that comes well-stocked with books and toys for a range of ages.
This includes a selection of eco-friendly wooden toys, board games for all the family to enjoy, board and paper books, games console, puzzles and more. We can also provide highchairs, an infant travel cot, a bottle steriliser, baby bath, toddler steps, toddler toilet seats, child-friendly crockery and plug socket covers with prior notice.

Perfect home for all the family!

Sea salt chalet is the ideal place for an extended family holiday. It has an enclosed rear garden with play equipment as well as a playroom for little ones to enjoy some space of their own. There is a large open plan living/kitchen/diner for family gatherings and the bedrooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. We only stayed for a few days but would recommend for short breaks or longer holidays. Great communication with the property manager. Thank you!

Fantastic property, highly recommend

We had a brilliant stay at Sea Salt Chalet as a break away for my birthday with my family. The location was great for exploring the new forest area and the property was spacious and light, with plenty of rooms for us all to stay in. The open plan living area was a lovely social space and the place room and garden area was enjoyed by the two little ones. It had everything we needed. Communication with the property hosts was also excellent and we all enjoyed the welcome treats so thank you for those :)

Beautiful house so close to the beach

Such a lovely beautiful house exactly as in the images. Hosts were so helpful with all questions I had and the check in process was super easy to navigate, no issues there. On arrival we were left a big box of brownies which was such a lovely touch. We purchased the hot tub add on and also had a chef come to the house to cook. The hot tub add on was super easy, they just came and set it up before we arrived and it was very easy and clear to use. The chef was a little more complicated but the hosts were able to answer any questions very quickly making it an easy and enjoyable transaction. There were lots of great recommendations on where to eat close by and we were so close to the beach it was amazing! Would definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back again!

A nice weekend away

We had a great time at the house - it was well equipped and the garden space and playroom were lovely for the kids. The bedrooms were a good size and everything was clean. The location right near the coast was lovely, and communication ahead of our arrival was great.

What an absolute beautiful location and property. Every detail was well thought of. We were looked after throughout our stay. Any queries were answered immediately with a follow up to assure we were enjoying our stay. We were welcomed with a beautiful hamper full of perfectly thought of treats. The house is beautiful and clean with everything you need. I would highly recommend staying at this property and through the Wildly New Forest Cottages.
