This is a beautiful place with comfortable beds, nice linens, 4 comfortable pillows per queen bed, a nightstand with lamp by every bed, and plenty of towels & washcloths. It has lovely hardwood floors, high ceilings, & local art, & it has been appropriately updated while mantinaing its original charm. We experienced excellent communication with the hosts before & during our visit, both by messaging & by phone. The gated parking was a huge benefit, & the one gated parking "space" (area) easily accomodated our 2 vehicles (a 4-door Tacoma with a 6' bed & a Rogue). No other unit has access to the gated parking, so there's no fear of getting blocked in. The courtyard is also in the gated area, so it felt very safe to hang out there at night, in small numbers, etc. All but one BR are very spacious, & the smaller BR is narrow but long, so it's still plenty big for luggage, etc. The bathroom is huge with a large tub (with shampoo, conditioner, & body wash). The kitchen is nice and is stocked with everything we needed, including a coffee maker (with coffee, filters, & sugar), a toaster, hand soap, dish soap, a sponge, & trash bags. The location is very convenient. We walked to the French quarter daily, & we walked home after dark (in groups of 3 or 4). We were prepared to use Uber or Lyft, but we ended up only walking. I never heard any neighbors, despite the home being divided into 4 units. It suited our group of 6 family and friends (ages 20 to 53) beautifully. Highly recommended!
