We had a great stay at The Chateau Hotel!! Ms Elaine helped us with last minute changes with the amount of family members and we had an issue with a lamp late at night and the gentleman at the front desk and the maintenance technician resolved it quickly!! Absolutely loved this hotel and will definitely come back!!!

Check in pleasant room old, floor needed to be cleaned , swept and needed lots of repairs bed was comfortable

Great place. Nice courtyard. Helpful staff. Good location a couple blocks from Jackson Square, a couple blocks from Bourbon Street and a couple blocks from the French Market.

Meh…ok

Water in shower was good. No place to hang a towel when in the shower. Pedestal sink sloped and didn’t allow any place for toiletries. Bar soap was horrible leaving a sticky residue hard to remove. Bedding was made up all turned 90 degrees. Pillows were nice and bed was comfy. AC could not remove the humidity. Cleaning staff spoke loudly in the mornings with their voices echoing throughout.

The best location

Absolutely couldn't be in a better spot. 2 blocks to the harbor and French Market area. 3 blocks to Frenchmen Street and about 8 blocks to Bourbon street. We walked everywhere. Very cool 18th century buildings. We were in the suite above the pool area with a ton of space. Very enjoyable.

Loved how close it was to the action but still quiet. Really enjoyed the pool in courtyard. Obviously it is an old building but a good value for the room and location. Would definitely stay here again.

Ms. Elaine was very delightful and helpful. The hotel had a mysterious yet inviting atmosphere. Things to improve on would be having better window coverage and WiFi connectivity. Also having a small fridge in the room would help.

I liked daily housekeeping, I think the building is very well-updated for its age and maintained history. Very friendly and helpful staff. Pool was nice, parking was tricky to find but nice to have once we found it.

Staff was super friendly and helpful, but the room wasn’t clean ,m.crumbs on the table when I arrived and there were roaches on the shower curtain, walls, and in the bathroom. Great people working here, but the hotel needs serious pest control and cleaning improvements.
