Avis pour Garden District | Garage Parking |3 Beds+Workspace
The condo was very well stocked with TP, PT, laundry and dishwasher pods, even coffee and sugar packets! Very clean. We will definitely stay when weâre back in New Orleans!
Good location for me between two of my favorite places, District Donuts and Turkey & Wolff. Everything was very clean, the kitchen was very nice and new. Cold AC and fans were very welcoming coming back from being out and about. If youâre used to a firm mattress, as I am, the bed (at least the upstairs) may not be for you. I very much appreciated being able to have my small 15lb dog stay with me. The steps out front, as shown in pictures, are steep but manageable. Overall great stay and location for me and would stay there again!
The VRBO was very nice, clean, and spacious. For most of our stay, no one was next-door, which was nice since once someone was in the adjoining unit, you could hear them pretty clearly. The garage was a very nice and appreciated perk, but it wouldâve been nice if there was at least a garage door opener we could easily use, especially at night. The unit is essentially located one block from magazine Street and a five minute walk to Saint Charles Avenue. Itâs a great location and a comfortable stay.
Great property for our family vacation to New Orleans! Location is awesome and house had everything we needed. Owners communicated well and check in/out instructions were simple and easy. Highly recommend for small groups and families!
We extended our stay due to the blizzard. The property managers were very accommodating and assisted us in finding this place. It was cozy and comfortable. We did have to enter through the front steps and shovel the snow with a dust pan and broom to gain entry. I guess nobody could be prepared for the once in a century storm! Thanks
Our family stayed for three days for a wedding. We had lots of room. You can easily walk to great places like PJ's Coffee for begniets. The only think folks should know is that there are steps to enter. The indoor parking is great.
This property is in a great location, and was overall a very nice place to stay.
Pros: The house was clean, spacious, comfortable, well-stocked, and within a 15 min walk of at least a dozen restaurants and a lot of shops. It also has garage access as long as your car isn't too big (not suitable for trucks or large SUVs).
Con: Only one...As others have mentioned, the walls are very thin (you can hear normal conversation-level speech clearly from the shared wall). Not necessarily a rarity in NOLA, but something to keep in mind if you're noise-sensitive.
We enjoyed our stay in this lovely home with 2 bedrooms(king beds) and 2 bathrooms. Perfect for 2 couples traveling together since they were on separate floors giving you some space and privacy. Pictures are very accurate. There is a garage suitable for smaller vehicles, but there is also street parking in front of home if vehicle is larger like our truck. You are just a short walk to the st Charles streetcar and the beautiful historic Garden District homes. We found a nearby microbrewery Urban South that we enjoyed and thereâs a Walmart a short distance away to purchase any groceries or necessities. Lots of restaurants nearby on Magazine St. Communication with owner was easy and smooth as well as check in and check out. We took the streetcar to get to French Quarter one day. $3 cash for all day pass. If we return to NOLA I would stay here again .
