We were first assigned to a room in a building that we didn't even realize was part of the property. It was across a parking lot, away from the lovely courtyard and pool. If you want to stay in the nice part of the property, call ahead and discuss options. You'll pay more but it's worth it. I'm grateful we were able to change rooms but wish we'd understood ahead of time how the reservations work. I do believe we were assigned the first room due to booking through travelocity. Lesson learned.

Great stay.

Great stay again after a few days at seaside Florida. This hotel is lovely and I will stay again when the time comes for another Nola trip. Wonderful staff!

This is a great boutique hotel in the French Quarter within easy walking distance to shops and dining. Since it is old, there is no elevator, so keep that in mind depending on what floor you stay on and going up and down the stairs with luggage, etc. The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept on and would consider owning for myself.

50 bucks for parking overnight after paying for a room is a little tough…I understand there’s a charge in New Orleans but $50 is getting out of hand for customers who have already paid for a room to be hit with $50 dollar parking bill.thats a meal for most average families who just wanna see the city for one night. We’d love to come and stay 2/3 nights but after paying up for a room and parking adding up, it’s tough for the working class families to afford 🙏

Perfect stay.

Our stay was just perfect. No issues. We only stayed there to sleep. We had our 2 children and everything was great. Staff was wonderful. It was so great we booked another night for later this week.

This was an excellent place to stay in the French Quarter! Close enough to walk most places, but just far enough from the action to be quiet and relaxing at night. Staff was friendly and helpful, would definitely stay again. Oh, and grab a breakfast at French Toast next door while you are there!

This is our go-to hotel in New Orleans. The location is EXCELLENT but the people is what sets this place apart. We recognize the staff from previous visits and they are just as welcoming each and every time! It is like visiting an old friend. From the valet to check in to housekeeping and of course bartending 😋 EVERYONE here was AMAZING! It is also cool that it's "haunted"😎

Loved the Hotel Provincial. If you're looking for a quaint, old-world feel (with modern, tasteful updates), this is the place for you! Comfortable beds, nice courtyard/pool, and great little bar with custom-crafted cocktails. And the price was definitely right! Fair warning, though - we learned the hard way that this property is a well-known location on the "Haunted New Orleans" tour (we saw a carriage with a group of people stop and discuss in front of the main building). Lots of hearsay and some dramatic tales; I cant speak of any experiences, but my husband certainly can! While I got the best sleep, he had many of the same occurrences as another lengthy review floating around the internet about our exact room. So if a little 1700s ghosty vibes are okay by you - this hotel is perfect! (And if it isn't, maybe you'll sleep through everything like i did!) 10/10, would absolutely recommend!

Hotel Provincial was very clean. I enjoyed the secure parking but the additional fee for the parking should be revisited and worked into the price of the room some how as it seems misleading to charge for the room and then have a mandatory valet charge upon arrival. It is needed as New Orleans is not safe for a vehicle in the road but it seems wrong go up charge for the parking. The valet also mixed up the cars and when I went to leave they brought me a vehicle that wasn’t mine. I had to go inside and help the front desk locate my keys. Overall the stay was nice. The staff was friendly. Hotel is clean. No true complaints. I would stay here again if I ever come back to New Orleans.
