The staff were very friendly and helpful! The lobby and outside appearance of the hotel were very eye catching. The room itself was basic at minimum. Granted we stayed here during Mardi Gras so the rates were higher, but for what we paid I expected more.

Lobby uniqueness. The craft cocktail bar. and Banksy art were all fantastic! Location was great too. Check-in coincided w/ a speaker in the lobby talking about origins of Mardi Gras and there was a "theater-like" setting w/ float and a "party" in the lobby..so cool! Check in was great and the front desk was attentive. The Check out could use some work. The lady working that day was not very personable, and was not super helpful at helping me find transportation. They gave me the name of a taxi cab driver who was supposed to call me in 10 mins. Nearly 2 hrs later I received his call....I'm glad I did not wait on him. I ordered an Uber instead. The front desk assit. would not give me the phone number of the taxi cab driver...just his name and that he was "going to call me"...I explained I needed certainty of a ride. She did not seem too concerned and her overall hospitality was surprisingly cold for being in a fun place like New Orleans during Mardi Gras and a hotel as good as International House (which I had stayed at before).

My hotel stay was great! The staff was very friendly, rooms immaculate, and amenities were great! And lastly, the location was PERFECT! I'm definitely booking with them again.

Double booked our room, made us wait 2 hours before we were even told we could not have the room we paid $700 to book. The room we ended up in against our wishes had not one but two broken TVs. Ridiculous and terrible service.

Staff members were super helpful and pleasant, my room was nice. It’s right near everything fun ! So many great restaurants in walking distance. The bar had great drinks. My next time in New Orleans I will be booking again for sure.
