Historic condo located in the Arts / Warehouse District of New Orleans with wrap around balcony. The perfect location for St. Charles Ave. / Uptown Route parades during Carnival Season. A quick walk to Superdome, Smoothie King Center Arena or Convention Center for our beloved Saints football, NBA Pelican Basketball team and so many concerts and events, as well as conventions, trade shows and expos.

The Space:
Discover the allure of this exquisite 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condominium, boasting a captivating blend of historic charm and modern comforts. Nestled in the heart of New Orleans, this residence features an open concept living room, dining room, and kitchen, adorned with original brick walls that exude the city's distinctive character. The wraparound balcony offers a picturesque view, creating a perfect setting for relaxation.

Our building is surrounded by a plethora of restaurants, coffee shops, and lively bars and grills—all within a convenient 4-block stroll. Immerse yourself in history with the must-visit World War II Museum just 3 blocks away. Witness the transformation of original warehouses, once storing goods from Port of New Orleans Steamships, now charming residential spaces that embody the district's rich heritage.

Getting Around:
Walking is the best way to get around in the downtown New Orleans area and when you get tired, rideshare (Uber/Lift/KrewCar) and taxis are generally readily available. Or hop on one of our famous streetcars to see two major routes throughout the city. The St. Charles Ave. streetcars are Green and head away from downtown on St. Charles Ave, into the Garden District, where you will see the beautifully maintained mansions, passing Loyola and Tulane Universities, Audubon Park, and the Audubon Zoo. Red Streetcars travel along Canal Blvd. from the Mississippi River out to City Park. The streetcars are cash only, unless you buy a pass.
The Hop on Hop off tour busses circulate around some of the more popular areas of downtown and offer pickup every 30 minutes.
The Algiers Ferry is a fun way to get across the river. It runs from Canal Street to Algiers throughout the day. Algiers is small and very walkable. Enjoy a quick bite to eat or just enjoy walking through the historic houses.

Bicycle rentals are also a great way to get around and can be rented from various locations throughout downtown. There are bike rental options like Blue Bike with multiple locations throughout the city and tour companies that have guided bike tours.

The host was very forthcoming with information prior to the stay regarding checkin process, location, things to do in the area close by. Great location, nice property

We came to town for a convention. It was only a ten minute walk to the Center. There is a bar, The Little Easy, downstairs which was great to stop in and have a cocktail. The unit is a great size, was stocked with everything we needed.Definitely would stay again and would recommend.

Excellent New Orleans location!

My first thought when booking a VRBO is, "what are the pictures not showing me?" With this property, what you see is what you get, and then some. Beautiful rooms, well appointed kitchen, everything you could need right at hand, it was perfect. Barbara was very attentive during booking and check-in, and let me know of an event happening down the street during our stay that we might want to check out. The location is convenient to parking, a trolley stop, and a great bar downstairs for drinks and food before calling it quits for the night. You won't regret this stay!

Wonderfull!

Great location, very clean and in a quiet area. Walkable to Bourbon Street, but it is also convenient to the streetcar stop. I love sitting out on the balcony. I highly recommend!

Julia St spring break

This property was amazing as was the host. Communication was excellent. All pros! Barbara and Candace are the best. They even let us complete a pick up grocery order and had our fridge and pantry stocked and ready to roll. The location is right across from the St Charles trolley stop and there is bountiful parking in every direction only steps away. We will stay here every single time. Thank you all so much.

Great location just enough away from the hustle and bustle of Bourbon St. but close enough to enjoy

Our experience here was perfect! Great communication and all went smooth and as advertised. Balcony is great far enough enough away from the noise of Bourbon St. though close enough to enjoy it. We walked down to that area most of time 4 days we actually only Ubered one time. Comfy beds and great common area to socialize with our friends. It accommodated my fiancé and the couple we traveled with perfectly.

Great apartment near convention center

We stayed for a week in this lovely apartment. I was there for a conference in the convention center about 6 blocks down the road. The apartment was terrific, with high ceilings that kept the place cool. The AC was more than sufficient despite the 100 degree heat. We had a problem initially but we called the manager and it was fixed right away. On our last day we needed somewhere to leave our luggage as our flight was not until the evening. The manager allowed us to leave our bags in the apartment for most of the afternoon, which was a huge help and much appreciated. We would definitely stay here again.

An Exceptional Find!

Absolutely charming, stylish, well-appointed place! Loved the wrap-around balcony & used it daily. Great neighborhood & walks to The French Quarter/other nearby hot spots don't require traversing sketchy areas, either. Staff was very helpful & responsive: At check-in, 1 of 2 door codes provided didn't work, but this was quickly resolved with a phone call to management & reprogramming by on-site staff. Later, the dryer's heating element had apparently gone bad & we were provided same-day access to a vacant unit's dryer just steps down the hall. Best of all...I must mention that you'll be dealing with absolutely ethical people: I'd hidden some extra spending money in the condo & only remembered I'd left it behind several days later. Kudos to the staff for accessing a newly occupied condo, retrieving & returning it all via FedEx! (minus a tip that I insisted on & the shipping fees, of course) In summary--an exceptional find in New Orleans! -Kelly H. Rockville, IN

This location made the trip. My wife said where we stayed was her favorite part of Nola. Visited New Orleans 6 times and this why far was the best stay. Highly recommend if you’re wanting a different side of the big easy, but still very close to the action if you want to be a part of it.

Best location ever

This is a wonderful place to stay. Centrally located. Right off the St. Charles streetcar line. Get an easy pass from the RTA website and ride as much as you want- you can go to the Garden district or to Bourbon street and the stop is right outside. Great decor and furniture. Lovely balcony that we used daily. We would stay here again!

Beautiful property, exceptionally clean!

This was the most wonderful trip that we could’ve ever imagined. We had a beautiful clean apartment to go back to every night. We felt safe in the area. You could walk around at night. There was a wonderful little bar restaurant downstairs below the apartment. Our favorite way to travel around the city was with pedicabs. And it was very easy to call a service to come to the apartment and pick you up and take you into the French quarter. Would 100% recommend and we hope to stay again❀
