They closed the pool down by the time we checked in which was a bummer.
I’d give negative stats of possible. I arrived saw how nasty it was asked to cancel
Second night, it was prior to 6 cutoff they refused! They charge a 50.00 deposit they should pay us to stay there in case we catch something! Roaches, stained or not changed sheets rusted towel holders I was afraid to get tetnis from! They screwed me out second night safety was paramount, NEVER AGAIN! I think a pay by the hour motel is better! Rude front staff! I went got Lysol spray the room! I ended up leaving early. The gates aren’t to keep people out it’s to keep the riff raff in!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS NASTY PLACE! They don’t follow own policy I’ll take that up with my card compmay. Again pics are old it’s gross I forgot the microwave there are no

Had a nice size pool but was really dirty lots of trash floating in pool felt gross to swim in.
Had some gazebos in the back lot along with grills which are a good option if you want to cook some meat
We were traveling last minute to New Orleans for an appointment with the passport office. Didn’t want to stay in the heart of downtown so we chose the Trident. The rate was very reasonable. The rooms are older but the bed was clean and it was a very quiet evening to rest. The shower walls were peeling and there was a crack in the toilet tank lid but these things were cosmetic and didn’t effect function. The front desk clerk was friendly and checked us in and out quickly. The continental breakfast is light (juice, cereal, yogurt, bread/bagel/small muffins).
This product is a dump if you like dumps stay there. It out dated big time, there was a dirty hair razor left on the bathroom sink. Streams it wasn’t clean, shower old, room smelled old and overall it’s dusty, dusty dusty. Slept with my clothes on and left early
We walked in the room and turned around and walked out. They wouldn’t give us a refund even thought we just checked in 2 mins prior.
I was even worried about sleeping in the bed. There was a huge hole in the wall in the bathroom.
Would not recommend.
The room smelled of marijuana soon as we walked in. One of the beds boxed spring was completely broken so bed leaned 1st night off to one side the had to come in and completely take bed out and bring new one in. Poles was sticking out my friend hit and bruised her leg. When they moved bed it was food all under it. Maintenance man was very nice tho. You couldn’t bring breakfast food out cafeteria so you had to get up early go down and eat instead of bringing back to your room it was only boiled eggs and waffles the man that works there is very nice tho the pool doesn’t open till 11am and was closed entire 3 days for reasons unknown and that was main reason we booked. Service was fine staff was helpful but we’ll never be back I guess you get what you pay for and $65/nt we got nothing lol
