The Vieux Carre’ is a beautifully crafted duplex. Come enjoy a brand newly built 3 BR 2.5 baths with all the bells and whistles. It’s very modern with a “Naturally Nawlins” flavor! The balcony and the porch creates such a homey laid back feel. You will never meet a stranger in NOLA!! The Vieux has tvs in every bedroom and a 50” inch in the living room. Also, The Vieux Carre’ is centered in between Treme and The Marigny. You could not ask for a better location, right in the “heart of the City”!

Nous sommes arrivĂ©s et l’hĂ©bergement n’avait pas d’eau la propriĂ©taire m’avait dit que cela c’était passĂ© en dĂ©but de semaine et que je devais partir le lave vaisselle. nous Ă©tions le jeudi et d’eau Ă©tait pas en fonction contacte la proprio 
 elle appelle la ville ! Nous avons du attendre tout l’aprĂšs midi aprĂšs les gens pour que l’eau soit remise 
 nous avons laver les planchers puisque ceux si avait possiblement Ă©tĂ© laver sans eau . Une fois rĂ©gler 4h plus tard
 nous avons pu dĂ©buter notre sĂ©jour Ă  la nouvelle OrlĂ©ans 
 c’est une jolie maison avec 3 grandes chambres 
 parcontre pour 6 personnes pas assez de chaise au comptoir manque d’ustensiles, tasses et verres 
 ce n’est qy’un dĂ©tail mais en vacance pas envie de laver de la vaisselle tout le temps 
 quartier ok faut pas faire de bruits parce que c’est un jumelĂ© mais dans l’autre partie les gens sont bruillants 
 et dans la rue des party a gauche et Ă  droite donc de nous demander d’ĂȘtre tranquille ! Nous devons aussi dĂ©buter la lessive avant de partir 
 mais dans l’ensemble c’est bien

We had a wonderful stay and truly appreciated what a great host he was. Communication was excellent from start to finish, and he was responsive whenever we reached out. There were a couple of small hiccups during our stay, but he addressed them as quickly and thoroughly as he could, which we really appreciated.The home itself had tons of amenities and was very well stocked — you can tell he put thought into making guests comfortable. It had everything we needed and more, which made our stay easy and relaxing.One thing to note is that while the location is convenient, it’s not really walkable to much due to limited sidewalks in the area. That said, it’s a very short drive to most restaurants, shops, and attractions, so getting around was still easy.

What a beautiful place to stay! The decor and amenities were perfect. Our host was quick to respond and very welcoming. Conveniently located to all the action, but quiet enough to get a great nights sleep. If I'm ever back in New Orleans, I will definitely stay there again.

The upgrade was Awesome, clean very easy and close to everything !!

Good equipment clean very cozy and efficient back room TV buffer but it didn’t spoil nothing! His and hers bathroom was on point!!!

Great place for regular visitors who love NOLA

If this is your first time in NOLA then perhaps stay a little closer to the river in heart of city. If you are a regular visitor, this is a nice, clean, place to stay, with lots of nice extras. Positive points: - clean and comfortable - all the rooms and bathrooms were immaculate - plenty of room for group of 5-6 - lots of places to store your bits and plenty of towels - good security system (maybe over the top but may make some people feel more comfortable) - lots of lovely extras like toiletries, coffee pods, laundry facilities, snacks. Nice touches. -7th ward is a neighbourhood inhabited by locals (not just tourists) and the neighbours are pleasent and quiet (although we didn't spend much time hanging about as too much to do and see!) - Not so far from Kermit's Mother-in-law Lounge! - Good WiFi - Fair price for the location For some people these points may not work for them: - On the lake side of where North Claiborne Ave turns into a bigger wider main road. This makes it really hard to cross on foot and about a 30-40min walk to main part of Frenchmen Street. If I stayed again I would rent bikes for the week as that would make it super quick to get into the heart of the city. - Ubers and Lyfts have gotten more expensive than in previous visits which adds a bit more cost to move around the city from this location. - Not a good local bodega or little shop walking distance to get some grocery bits, so again, bikes would make that much easier. Great location

This property is so close to everything you’re going to want to visit in New Orleans. Jan is a very responsive host that has everything you need for a small group visit to the city. This is a local property meaning it’s not a tourist area, expect locals around you. The only warning I will give is that the walls are very thin so if you are a light sleeper be prepared!

Smack dab in the middle!

This beautiful property was in the middle of an interesting neighborhood but an alarm was there for safety. So interesting that when we got out of uber and said goodnight be safe, he replied NO YOU GUYS BE SAFE as he sped off! Also, the host had every single thing you could think of that may be needed on a trip. Fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms. I would suggest you bring your own towels because the white towels were dingy and the lower level of the duplex was cold and the master shower was lukewarm instead of hot. The commute to all of the NOLA fun was quick as the property is near everything! This host was great and we had a great time in NOLA.
