Neat and clean. It doesn't have dryer though, there is a coin laundry nearby. Breakfast is good. This place is near the station and the river walk, so it is close enough to access some local main street and well known cafe. Bus is nearby also, so you can ride to the harbor. One drawback on this hotel is that it's shower water pressure is not power enough so you would need to wait a bit for the hot shower coming out. And, sound proof isn't great, you could hear shower sound from the other rooms above. The neighborhood at night is quiet though.

This place is a hidden gem. Yes, it's a 2-star hotel, which means linoleum floors, but therefore very inexpensive. She's like an elegant older aunt. Old-time feel, 2 blocks from MRT, and best of all, overlooking the small old Yinshan Temple, built in 1824, itself a secluded treasure.

Don’t be fool by Expedia photos , Unsafe room that anyone can easily break in room, room is outdated and mod smell. No flexibility for refund due to uncomfortable conditions. We didn’t stay even we paid for 3 nights. BE AWARE and stay away

Well managed hotel overall. Room was clean and location was superb. WiFi bandwidth was poor (speed tested) and room was cold at night with no portable heater available to loan at the front desk. Modest but delicious breakfast was available in clean and well managed setting.

Comfortable stay

Clean, spacious and comfortable. Condition is same as described. The only thing I don’t enjoy is that every time going to toilet, you have to step down one big step. This is very inconvenient and unsafe for the kids.

Overall everythings is gd except breakfast very normal. Near to tamsui mrt stn. It take abt 5 to 10mins walk to the hotel. Nearby shopping n nite market n riverside. Value for money will stay again when come to taiwan.

Convenient and clean hotel

Everything is great except for the noise. This Hotel is on 7th and 8th floor of the building and on the 9th floor there is a dancing studio. So from 9am to 10pm you will expect noise if staying on 8th floor. If you don't spend much day time and early evening time in the room, it can be ignored. But if you need to sleep early you may reconsider.

Great stay

Nice Chinese-western style breakfast. Quite good location just a 5 minute walk from Tamsui MRT station. Be advice, some ladies at the lobby know English but others don't, so practice your basic Chinese before arriving to the lobby.

Beyond My Expectation!

With the money I paid, it was way beyond my expectation. First of all, the room is very clean and comfortable. I did some research, it is probably the only hotel in the area not in the love hotel business. The hotel location is super convenient. It is very close to the subways (for all my sight seeings) and walking distance to the famous Old Street while situated in a quiet location. I cannot ask for more. There is Free Wi-Fi and Free Breakfast and Free Parking. Plus the staffs are quite pleasant. I had a very nice stay and more money to shop!
