Chehalem Mountain Wine Cottage With Sweeping Views Of Wine Country

Hawks Haven Wine Cottage is located on a 6.8 acre, beautifully landscaped estate. The Cottage has been newly remodeled and updated. You will enjoy one of the most beautiful views that the area has to offer. Driving to the local wineries is very picturesque and many of the most popular wineries are within 20 minutes drive on well maintained back country roads. From our deck you can see sweeping views of the wineries and vineyards below such as Adelsheim, Tesori, Bergstrom, Arborbrook and Dundee hill just to mention a few. Our guests enjoy the relaxing water feature that is nestled into a private rock patio and the country quite setting is a perfect getaway from the busy city life. There is an aerial (drone) video for you to enjoy just by clicking on the video camera icon on the main photo next to the map icon. Hawks Haven is ideal for couples, small families or for 2 couples who are visiting Oregon Wine Country and many of the beautiful attractions close by.

Couldn’t have picked a better place!

This was our first trip to Willamette Valley. We were looking for a quiet location, nice view, easy access to a variety of wineries and good food. This property was just perfect! Dan is a wonderful host. Their home is on the property and it’s equally as beautiful. We loved our visit and will definitely return!

40th anniversary trip

The house was beautiful as well as the views. We spent time going to wineries, hiking the waterfalls, and visiting several quaint small towns. Oregon was on our bucket list - I am sure that we will be back.

Cozy home away from home

Beautiful Views

The views were beautiful. The kitchen was well stocked, plenty of movies, and good Wi-Fi. The cottage was perfect for two people. The only concern that I would have is probable noise if you had additional people. There is possible noise issues as the Primary Bedroom walls do not go completely to the ceiling allowing even soft conversation to carry. We enjoyed our time here and would definitely consider staying again.

Wine Country Getaway!

Communication with the hosts regarding property checkin, directions, etc was timely. The property is clean and well maintained. Kitchen implements well stocked made cooking a breeze. Plenty of linens for a 5 night stay for a party of four. Dan was very helpful with recommendations for a spa day, a wine tour, and restaurants. All spot on. We enjoyed a glass of wine and a visit with Dan and Laurie the first night. They are perfect hosts! The view with coffee in the morning or while enjoying the sunset with a glass of wine is memorable.The firepit is an added bonus. We look forward to our third visit!

Property was perfect for our quick trip to the Willamette valley area. The cottage is clean and large and has everything you could possibly need. Lovely setting overlooking the valley. We had everything we needed and more. Convenient to a multitude of wineries. Quiet and peaceful. Outdoor seating with fantastic view and small gazing pool with water lillies.

Beautiful cottage with a great view. Well equipped. We loved the fire pit. Short drive to Newberg and good shopping. So many wineries nearby. Enjoyed Durant and Lange, also David Hill by Forest Grove. Wonderful place for a girl getaway

Beautiful Willamette Valley retreat

Lovely property not far from Newberg/Dundee. Great getaway. Gorgeous views when the sun shines—but at the mercy of Oregon weather. We were in the clouds for part of our stay, despite it being July. Not a fault of the property though. :)
