Ideal location

We had come to Newcastle to watch a rugby match at Kingston Park so the Novotel was ideal. We were able to walk to the venue.

Can’t fault it

Stop-over the night before a flight. Easy access to Kingston Park Metro, so quick links into town and to the airport. Hotel itself was very clean, smart and extremely comfortable. Few bits of wear and tear around the room, but really not the end of the world- everything worked. Reception and bar service were excellent, very polite and happy to help. Bar area was a lovely space and had an excellent selection of drinks. Excellent choice for the airport, but could serve well for anyone visiting Newcastle, going to the rugby or just a stopover near the A1.

Last minute airport stay

Due to flight issues we needed a decent hotel close to the airport at the last minute. This Novotel more than lived up to the billing as the rooms were very nice and public areas excellent. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. All round a good find.
