Professionally designed and furnished, this updated, modern cottage on the golf course at Mountain Glen offers all the comforts of home - and then some. In addition to on-site golf, you’re near tons of local attractions, hiking, mountain biking, waterfalls, skiing, scenic drives and more. Outside, you’ll love the screened porch for alfresco dining and two more decks for lounging while the kids play in the large, fenced yard. The front porch offers a cozy seating area to gather and chat with friends. Downstairs on the patio is the new seven-person hot tub, a fire pit, and a gas grill, ideal for easy family cookouts.

Inside, you’ll find vaulted ceilings, exposed wood beams, barn-wood floors, and upscale, modern finishes. The chef will adore the gorgeous kitchen, ready to feed the whole gang with two ovens, two microwaves, and plenty of gleaming counter space. Make family memories around the large dining table when it’s time to eat or break out a board game in the evening. Two living rooms - one upstairs and one down - offer big-screen, streaming-capable TVs, comfortable seating, and gas fireplaces. Upstairs you’ll also find a wet bar and wine fridge; downstairs is the foosball table, awaiting a friendly challenge.

Beautiful Home on Mountain Glen

This home has everything you need for a wonderful mountain vacation. It's well shocked kitchen, comfortable beds outdoor living and great location are not rivaled. We had a wonderful time and loved being close to the golf course.

Wedding Weekend

The house was beautiful, clean, and very accommodating. We would certainly stay here again. Only bummer was the water going out two hours before the wedding we were attending. But, we know it was nothing within owners control. They were incredibly responsive and sent someone out to fix it as soon as they were able. We all truly appreciated that. Thanks for a great weekend in Newland!

Seren-i-tee Cottage fits us to a tee!

This was our second stay at Seren-i-tee Cottage and we just love it! It is a perfect location for our annual family/golf vacation and the layout works great for the family members that join us. The home is well appointed; beautiful views! The screened in balcony between to open air balconies was great for games and doing puzzles. We enjoyed the convenience of the grill and relaxing in the hot tub! The owners are wonderful to work with; very responsive. We hope to return to Seren-i-tee Cottage again and again!!

Amazing views and golf course is your backyard!

The house was clean upon our arrival. Kitchen was well equipped with all necessary appliances and start up items. The patio was place to relax with friends. We will choose this property in future if we are in the area.

Great Weekend Stay in Newland, NC

First - the pictures don't do the property justice. This property has had a recent and very well done remodel and it is absolutely beautiful. Secondly - the bedding was the best I've ever experienced in a VRBO or similar property. We slept great. The owners have obviously put a lot of thought into what their guests would appreciate. The property is situated adjacent to a golf course I am now looking forward to playing at some point in the future. I only regret that the weather limited our ability to tour the area more. Compared to other rentals in the area, this has to be one of the best values out there. Highly recommended!

A great Thanksgiving in the Mountains!

All of our children were coming in from out of town this year for Thanksgiving, so we decided to spend it in the mountains. We absolutely loved this house; it was so cozy and welcoming. It had plenty of room for the seven of us, especially the kitchen and living room. The kitchen was well equipped, especially the 2 ovens and 2 microwaves. There was more than enough room to prepare and enjoy our Thanksgiving dinner. We watched football in the living room while enjoying the warmth of the fire. The spacious bedrooms with bathrooms as well as hot tub were a definite plus. We are already planning a return visit. One of the best we’ve ever stayed in. Thank you for providing us a memorable place to spend a wonder Holiday week

Highlands Getaway

Stay was centrally located to everything on our vacation bucket list. Home extremely clean, well stocked, decorated beautifully. Family especially enjoyed the hot tub and game nites on the screened porch.
