Take in the scenery at Corona del Mar State Beach, go for a walk along the Newport Pier, visit the Orange County Museum of Art, enjoy the beautiful Sherman Library and Gardens, or cast a line at the many nearby fishing piers (48th Street Jetty, 52nd St Jetty, 56th St Jetty, Newport Beach Pier, and Balboa Pier).

This beautiful coastal home has five bedrooms, which means that is ideal for large families and groups looking for a breezy place to stay! Upon entering, you will notice how it's gracefully lit by endless natural light coming from ample windows and sliding doors. The open floor plan seamlessly combines the living and dining areas and the well-appointed kitchen. Come back from the beach to spread out comfortably in the inviting living room, complete with comfortable sofas and a large smart TV with streaming services. From here and from the dining area you can access an extensive balcony with some chairs and partial views of the ocean. The chef of the group will have a great time preparing delicious treats and meals for the crew. The kitchen has been appointed with modern stainless steel appliances that will definitely make cooking a breeze. Additionally, coffee enthusiasts will find a cute coffee station with a drip coffee maker and several cups. There is a beautiful sunroom featuring a sofa bed and another smart TV - this would be a great place for a midday nap or watch your favorite shows without interrupting the others. Additional amenities include a washer/dryer on-site.

Great location...excellent amenities...easy rental process. Had a question during our stay and it was answered right away via text. Overall the unit was clean, with the exception of some mold along the window in the sunroom. Lots of sleeping space and a large kitchen table made for a great weekend together. The two parking spots were extremely helpful especiallyafter grocery shopping or coming in atvnight when parking in the area was limited. Would stay there again!!

Location, location, location. The house, itself, is dated, cold and in need of some repair. Beds were comfy but it was cold in the back room where sunroom doesn't have insulation or even a working light.Furniture worked for our big group. It's not like we spent a lot of time inside, watching TV. It worked for the time being

90th Birthday Celebration

We had 10 people in our group and the house worked out well. I didn’t realize we only had the upstairs, but that was okay for us. I knew about the “interesting” layout from other reviews, but that also was okay. The location was fantastic and we had plenty of parking which was great! The beach is right across the street and we spent time there each day. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

AMAZING Beach Location!

Very quiet home right in Newport by the beach! We were there for work so we didn’t get to enjoy the house as much as we would have liked. I do agree with some of the other reviews that is it quite strange to have a Jack and Jill bathroom as the actual hallway. Overall we enjoyed it and would definitely stay here again.

Just ok at best

Great location. Easy check in and out. AMAZING location and communication with property managers BUT....strangest layout EVER - you have to walk through two bathrooms to get to the main part of the house. The heater was not working and we just so happened to be in Newport when we really needed one. We all slept in jackets. My husband ended up getting AA batteries for the thermostat so we had some heating the last night we were there. The shades in the front room (with sun room) are all busted up so there is NO privacy or a way to keep out the light. There is a motion detector on the side of the house and it went off all night making it hard to sleep because the shades would not close. We did not use the kitchen but got out one bowl for chips and it was filthy. The bed linens are thin and not good quality. Stains on the couches and rugs. Two bathrooms have been remodeled but the other two are pretty bad. For sure a party pad not a nice family vacation stay. Would not stay again.

Proximity To The Beach is 30 Seconds

Front the front door to the beach is 30 seconds or less. It’s an incredible property for families wanting a beach vacation. Will recommend it all day long!

Mixed Bag Beach house

This beach house drew us in for our annual spring break beach house trip. On the plus side there's (1) Location - just across the street from the sand and close to Newport/Balboa shops and dining, (2) Remodeled recently + large fridge for groups, (3) 5 bedrooms + 4 bathrooms in just the upstairs rental unit, (4) Smart Tv = streaming services + wifi, (5) good-sized 2nd story balcony, (6) beach towels and some beach chairs provided. We are seasoned vacation property renters and struggled with a few things that tossed some shade on our stay including (1) Host/Vacasa response time -we were missing bedding for the pull out (noted in listing and included in "sleeps 12"). It took two full days to get it after multiple calls, SMS, and emails using numbers/emails listed. I've never had such poor response to a basic need that was an expectation, (2) Living space - It's listed as 'sleeps 12' but only 6 dining chairs for the large table and room for 6-ish to sit in living room. It's open concept but made for 'standing room only during meals until we pulled in some of the patio furniture, (3) 4th bathroom was literally the hallway connecting the front to back of house. Awkward and tight!, (4) Laundry unit was full when we arrived - washer and dryer. Also noted this in my messaging and calls. Never got addressed, so we didn't use it during our stay. Goes back to accessibility/reliability of host, (5) No grill - patio had room - definitely suggest this be added. Recommend - Yes, for a smaller group. Location was great and overall property was neat, clean, and kitchen appliances were excellent for cooking meals. It had enough of a luxury feel to be a good choice for a family, girls getaway, etc. Hopefully, as a newer property on the Vacasa/VRBO site, the local host with get better equipped to handle messages regarding the property from guests during their stay.
