Amazing staff that was welcoming and supportive when requested little things. Highly impressed with the whole experience! The welcoming gift, surprise gift in room on anniversary made you feel special, the cleanliness and comfort of room was better than I've received and experienced at 5 star resort and suites at various locations in the past! The areas surrounding were great as well! Friends traveling with were able to get their lobster at a Raw Bar recommended within walking distance and I was able to get prime rib for an amazing low price of $21 on special deal! The hospitality shown at all locations recommended was excellent. You truly get a great experience for very reasonable costs! Can't thank the staff enough for making the last night of a travel before returning to Florida, one that will always bring back memories I can cherish!

We like the downtown location, the fact that they welcome pets, the beds are comfortable and the rooms are good sized and clean. We also loved the breakfast delivery each morning. Excellent value especially during the off season.

We were surprised by a welcome gift and very friendly staff and found the walkability from this location was great. It was a wonderful find for a brief and inexpensive getaway to Newport.

Alexander checked us in and was do kind and helpful!! The room is adorable and smells good. Nespresso machine in the room was perfect to go with our dessert we brought back to the room. Getting breakfast delivered to your room in the morning is the cherry on top. Thank you!

Fantastic Inn

Beautiful, extremely clean inn with wonderful service and a lot of little extra conveniences in the room and lobby. The continental breakfast was dropped at the door and the quality of the pastry, fruit and yogurt were exceptional. I highly recommend a stay here!

Fantastic place to stay

We have stayed at this hotel many times. The manager and staff are top notch. The rooms/common areas are clean. The furniture, rugs and bathrooms could use some updating. All of the rooms have sitting areas. Our favorite part is having coffee/light breakfast delivered to our door in the morning! The hotel is walking distance to the waterfront stores and restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel.

The location of the property is convenient and walkable to food shopping and attractions. Barry greeted us well and was very professional, efficient, and friendly. He made our first stay here very pleasant. I would definitely stay at this property again.

If you want to hang out along the waterfront and Thames Street in Newport, this is a good spot. Easy walking distance to shops, bars and restaurants. The staff was wonderful. Parking is available, which is a big plus for this area, even off-season. Our room was a bit small, especially the bathroom, but because of the high ceilings, the room felt bright and airy. This building is a National Historic Landmark, so you won't find an elevator. If that's an issue be sure to request a ground floor.

This is a very comfortable inn with a great location in Newport and welcoming staff. We had the duplex unit and it was great for a winter stay. My only suggestion is that they add a sink to the first floor living room, where the coffee and bar are located. The only sink is in the upstairs bathroom.
