The description said it was an ocean view, when I checked in the girl said no rooms with a view were left. I told her I paid for the ocean view room, she said that she gave those rooms out and I could have a partial view for an up-charge! When we got into the room we noticed a hole in the wall that wires were hanging out, the window would not open and the shade on the hanging light was hanging off the light bulb. I asked for another room and the girl seemed annoyed until I told her I have a 1 yr old with me so no loose wires !!! The. Girl was so unprofessional with sweats on. I will never stay there and do not recommend to anyone. FYI the breakfast doesn’t open till 8. Should be earlier. Also the walls are thin.

The room was spacious, clean, and quiet. I wished there would have been a hairdryer the room. In their defense, I didn’t ask if they had one. The staff was efficient and friendly. Easy walking distance to Nye beach.

The front desk staff were amazing! I thought I had booked a room with a view, but hadn’t, and requested one if possible and that I was willing to pay extra. The kind lady, who I didn’t get the name of, was able to get a partial view and didn’t charge extra! It was such a nice experience to have, the breakfast was also delightfully surprising with being able make your own waffles with their cast iron waffle makers! The room was also clean, and bed was SUPER comfortable! I would definitely stay again!

Wonderful property, a bit worn due to seaside exposure. Great staff to greet travelers. If you love old beach villages you are a walk downhill to Nye Beach with a wide beach entrance, a chowder restaurant and a bakery of absolute magical creations.

LOVED how close it is to the beach! The weather was beautiful so we had the window open every night to sleep to the sound of the ocean! We were on the 3rd floor and well the power lines are at the 3rd flr level too. That was the only bummer. So choose 2nd or 1st floor. But it was kinda cool watching all the birds on the lines all up close. It was a BIG room but poorly designed. The sink.is outside the bathroom and just a sink absolutely no counter space. My sruff ended up on the floor. The internet connection for the TV was bad. The picture constantly froze or pixelated. The bed was comfortable and pillows fluffy. The fridge was dead but they took the time to switch it out quickly. My card key never worked even replaced. So just used Hubby's. Overall, we would recommend this place even with all the glitches as it was walkable.to town, shopping, restaurants, beach etc. We would stay again.

Misleading info regarding rooms. Booked a king with ocean view. Had to argue and show proof of booking and receipt to get it because front desk said it said only king was booked. Also had a large party with several large dogs booked in room above us. Very loud and although we tried to ask them nicely, as well as message front desk and call they continued noise until 1:30am. Not directly hotels fault but courtesy is usually kids and dogs first floor

The staff was very friendly and quick to help. We swam in the pool and I noticed that the towel supply was getting low, just a few minutes later someone came in to refill them. The bed was comfortable and the proximity to the beach was awesome!

We had a great last minute stay and was able to get reservation quickly. It's an older building being renovated. The view of ocean was great and beds comfortable. The only thing I didn't like was I found hairs in the bathtube which was kinda icky but every else was nice. Nice breakfast as well, waffles were great!

I asked for a late check out because I had a radiation and chemotherapy appointment that I had to specifically asked for the late check out because I needed to shower after my appointment. I got back to my room at 11:20 and they had the doors opened up in my room already stripped and all of my belongings were gone
.. I asked why and asked where my belongings were they gave no answer. Then they charged me for a late check out an additional $30 and still have none of my belongings returned. Which in the belongings I have my very important cancer medication that cost me a lot of money and everything is just gone . I asked them to check the doors keys to see who came into my room they said they can’t . I’m currently waiting for an officer to go back over there I want my things that are missing from my room. Worst hotel EVER . Very disrespectful front desk people and not professional service at all .all of the workers all look like there using drugs.
