Oceanfront serenity awaits the two of you at Ocean Wind Retreat, a very romantic getaway spot for 2. Sauna and 4-person size soaking tub with ocean view. Dog friendly, yard off deck, view of the light house, queen bed, TV and WIFI. There is a full bath with a tub/shower combination. The front room has a kitchenette: fridge, coffee maker, micro-wave, toaster, electric wok (there is no oven or range) and utensils. A gas Cuisinart BBQ is available for private use by the deck on the ocean side of the front yard.

The front room has a Captains Bed perched high to optimize comfort and the scenery outdoors. Step outside to a spacious oceanfront deck and yard, or seek out the path overlooking the beach with love seat and complete privacy. A large indoor soaking tub, beautifully tiled, with ocean view and an indoor sauna add to the rest and relaxation of this wonderful retreat! The bedroom: queen bed, open closet, dresser, TV and "fire" light for ambience, has a view of the light house. Host provides flowers and gift basket free of charge.

A favorite vacation, birthday and honeymoon spot. Located at the South end of Nye Beach in Newport, OR, just next door to Georgie's Beach side grill for scrumptious dining. Enjoy the Newport Performing Arts Center, many area restaurants, art galleries, wine tasting and several music venues. Less than 3 minutes to the Newport Bayfront, Hatfield Marine Science Center or the Oregon Coast Aquarium. Walking distance to two parks.

This apartment is on the ground floor, with a permanent residence above where the host/owner is available if needed. A wonderful location for the artist, writer, editor or anyone just seeking quiet solitude for inspiration. Please adhere to the policy of No Smoking. A great place to get away on the Oregon coast. It was a return stay and we will very likely do it again. Very convenient to everything you may need or want to do. Jeannie is a great host, and provides a very personal touch which is appreciated. Provides great access to the beach for a walk every morning to Nye Beach.

This place was better than advertised! Perfect view of the beach framed by trees from the kitchen window. The hot tub was amazing! All the personal touches and beautiful decor made the stay even more enjoyable. The location is incredible. This place is a gem and we will be back!

We didn't use the hot tub but the sauna was absolutely amazing. Jeannie was absolutely an amazing host. Couldn't of adked for a better one. The view was so amazing of the ocean from the living room and the deck. There's also a cute bench below to see it better. The stairs down to the beach can be a little much if your not used to it but still has a beautiful beach to hang out at with your pets.

Jeanne is a wonderful host very kind woman every time I come back to Newport. This is the place I’m going to stay. You have easy access to the beach and the stairs are wonderful especially for us older women who need to keep our toes a little tighter every now and then there’s a playground right next to us as well so it’s highly recommended.

This lovely spot, set on a bluff in the heart of Newport, was perfect for our "Winter week away"! We (and our Dog Dot) were welcomed to spectacular Pacific Coastal Views, and by a variety of thoughtful amenities provided by our host. The adjacent stairway to the beach gave us the chance to walk, and let our dog run on the beach every day. It is close to both the Nye Beach and Harbor areas, as well as -- great places to enjoy excellent food and restful hours!

Our stay was perfect. Jeannie is an amazing Host! She went above and beyond to make Bunny and I feel at home. Including welcome treats for us both! She was always ready with recommendations or suggestions when asked, but also gave us privacy. We loved the cozy space, the sauna and the super comfortable bed. And you cannot beat the view (stunning!) or proximity to the beach. I would 100% recommend this home, the location and the host! Will definitely return!
