The best part of this hotel is the restaurant. The food is excellent, the options are great, and I would happily eat dinner there every day. The property itself is also well maintained.
However, the overall experience does not match a five star rating. The beach outside the hotel’s small cleaned area is extremely dirty, with garbage everywhere. The gym is very hot because they do not turn on the AC, even after asking multiple times. The AC in the restaurant is also very weak. There is no real hot water in the rooms.
Communication is very difficult because most of the staff does not speak English, and even with a translator, basic requests become confusing. I had several uncomfortable situations, including incorrect orders and arguments at reception when trying to book services included in my package.
The worst part was injuring myself with a needle sticking out of the towel basket. I was bleeding, and when I reported it to the front desk, no one asked if I was okay, no apology, nothing. Very unprofessional.
Overall, great food and a nice property, but the service and customer experience fall far below five star standards. I would not consider this a luxury stay.
