Prime Location - Storage Improvements
Only suggestion I would have is adding more hooks for coats, towels, hats, etc. There are only 2 hooks in the entire house, which are both in the shower. The coat closet on the first floor does not have a rod, shelf, or hangers to hang anything. With a party of 6 and all of us having to shower and bring coats, it was a game to see where towels and jackets could be put. Towels were a struggle as we had to hang them on the door knobs in the hallway to try and dry them. For a house that can sleep up to 6, adding coat hooks on the first floor and in the bedrooms would be a plus.

Don’t expect your damage deposit back
When we initially pulled up to this house, we were a bit scared. The neighborhood feels a bit sketchy, and it seems like lots of other people park in the back of this house for an apartment building or something. We didn’t feel super safe. But it is very close to all the attractions on Clifton Hill, which was a plus. Just wasn’t expecting this area to look so run down. The house itself is okay in a generic vanilla way. Small, but okay. I did get hurt getting into the tub too because the bathroom is so weirdly designed that my foot slammed into the toilet just stepping in since on the side away from the toilet there is a glass barrier that doesn’t move. Plus there’s no shower curtain or door, so you just freeze on any part of your body that isn’t in the shower stream. Additionally, it’s been 2 months and I still cannot get in contact with the property manager to refund my refundable damage deposit (it’s stated in the listing that this will be refunded after the stay). I am very meticulous and made sure there were no issues whatsoever, but this property manager just ghosted us and won’t refund that deposit. I should have just left the place a mess if I would have known I wasn’t going to get that money back anyway. Don’t be fooled by the pictures. It’s an okay place to stay, but when management is this bad, you can spend your hard earned money on something nicer.

Great getaway close to Clifton Hill
Unit was clean and tidy upon arrival, checkin was easy with the lockbox, parking to accommodate 3 vehicles no problem. Comfy beds to easily sleep 6 guests. Overall great option if you are looking for a nice place very close to Clifton Hill, although only outdoor space is on the front porch, no backyard.
