I chose this hotel because it's close to the airport and was highly rated by previous guests. My experience matched the reviews. However, there are few restaurants within walking distance, none open after 9pm. My flight got me there around 9pm, so my dinner that day was a serving of beef vegetable soup from the hotel convenience shop.

Breakfast was excellent. Roberlier who took care of breakfast was above and beyond with his help, professionalism and cleanliness. Friendly staff. Back side of property less than desirable aesthetically. Very convenient location but a little noisy due to traffic. Kelly at front desk staff very helpful.

Unfriendly Morning Staff and GM

Instead of looking to improve, the GM Austin tried to Question my Not So Great Experience on Google site for my 3 nights stay! (an A-frame sign asking your 10point rating sit right at the entrance to influence your rating). The morning staff that other coworkers called her Ms Kelly was not friendly at all! She also often absent from front desk going out smoke, close to the entrance so smoke draft into the lobby air: We don’t want 2nd hand smoke, period! Specially during cold weather…But when I raised the issue: the GM tried to argue that Smoking Allowed In 25 Feet (see photo).
Couple Staffs smoke every morning by the entrance with sign on the wall says: proud to be 100% smoking free building, and no smoking sign.

The size of this room, the comfort of the bed, condition of the room, and appointments were on par with most other brands usually associated with higher end hotel chains such as Hilton Garden Inn, Marriott, and others. What really made it special was the front desk team. The two women I encountered during my stay were genuinely nice and caring, even inquiring about my visit with my mother when I returned from taking her to dinner on New Years Eve. They were not pretending to be considerate and kind, they genuinely are and that is almost unseen these days. I highly recommend this property, and if this is indicative of this brand in general, and is what is to be expected nationally, I will forego my desire for pricier hotels knowing that Comfort Suites has everything I need.

The room was very nice. Kelly at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. Rubier did a great job with breakfast each morning. Housekeeping did a great job and met every need in a timely manner. Overall my stay was a great experience. I highly recommend staying at this hotel.
