Food lacks authentic Japanese taste. Too much focus on international food selection. There is really very little choice of food around the hotel. Room design is odd. The window opens from head to toe. We were put just below the onsen and the room was really warm. There was no aircon and airflow was bad even with both windowns open. Luckily the staff gave us a fan

酒店住宿overall 唔錯，房間舒適，另外露天溫泉可觀賞洞爺湖和遠望羊蹄山，而酒店提供的晚餐和早餐 Buffet 食物很有質素，只是工作人員服務質素有改善的空間，感覺check-in 和住宿的過程中比較混亂, e.g 1) 預早完成網上check-in手續，但到達酒店時卻被指去櫃檯做人手check-in. 2）連續住兩晚, 房卡第二日居然進不回房間！

It's all about the lake view

Can't beat the gorgeous lakefront location and views. Everything was outstanding except the somewhat disappointing dinner buffet which was subpar in the quality of many dishes, especially the seafood. Breakfast was excellent. Our private open-air onsen in our room was great as was the public rooftop onsen.

Wonderful retreat for stress, great location to Lake Toya and nearby nature attractions. Staff very friendly and some do speak English. Airport shuttle available from New Chitose Airport. Great experience for first time visitors to Hokkaido

This resort delivered in everything I expected. It has the outdoor onsen view, excellent room, and the delicious meals. I really loved the breakfast, because I felt all of the dishes worth eating were delivered well, and they weren't overwhelming or gimicky. Just good ol' Japanese and Japanese-Western dishes. I didn't like the dinner because I felt a lot of them were kind of gimicky. I was a bit disappointed that none of them felt like they were representative of Hokkaido dishes though.

impressive 180 degrees view of lake toya from room

although dissapointed that the fireworks was cancelled the night we arrived due to rain, the next day's incredible view of lake toya from our wide room windows more than make up for the cancelled fireworks. dinner and breakfast both buffet style is plentiful and delicious. we opted for the private baths instead that night which is so relaxing. clean and spacious room but parking is not so convenient since need to park at the hotel's designated car parking space away from the hotel - they will take you to/from hotel and carpark anyway. overall - a memorable stay

Love this hotel

Good quality food, great location, comfortable room, big private onsen room with firework at night so romantic and also have lounge access for my room type. They have wine, beer and coffee in the lounge at 4.00-6.00pm

Beautiful hotel by the lake

Beautiful hotel by the lake with easy transportation as bus stop is just across the street. buffet dinner/ breakfast provide great food and beautiful setting/arrangement. the club building guest can access Club lounger with evening wine/snacks and easy music, we enjoyed it. the onsen was good but if you can, try to book private onsen room, one session 50 minutes, great view and privacy , totally worth it with very reasonable price.
