It is the ideal home for a small family or two couples to get away from the hustle and bustle of their busy lives. This rental has been recently updated and features a roomy living area with a connected kitchen. Outdoors, guests will love spending warm summer days on the front deck enjoying the peace and quiet this entire property has to offer. And be sure to be on the lookout for visiting deer and elk!

What’s nearby:
Make sure that you bring along your boat or ATV because Hidden Escape offers plenty of space to park them, and is just a short drive from some of the area's best lakes and dunes. If you don’t own your own, you can rent one for the day in nearby North Bend. William Tugman State Park is only 12 miles north and offers access to beautiful Eel Lake, great for swimming, kayaking or paddleboarding.

Great secluded house to stay in if you have a dog

We loved it.. even though when we got there, I had to clean a bunch of questionable dried stains off of the couch, and the whole place smelled like mildewy wet dog. (We didn’t have a dog with us so we probably should have gotten a place where dogs aren’t allowed.) The first bedroom on the right could use a new bed. My husband and I had to find somewhere else to sleep after laying in that bed for 5 minutes. We loved the secluded location and the simpleness of getting into it. It has beautiful woodsy views and we loved the porch! Kitchen has absolutely no food, just seasoning so bring your own condiments and everything. We overall enjoyed our stay! Thank you!

Great little three bedroom for the price!

Great little three bedroom for the price! It could have been a little cleaner upon arrival, you could tell somebody hadn't been there in a while. Spiders and spider webs inside the dwelling and out. All the issues were relatively minor. The can opener is broken, the hall bath doesn't hold water, and the carpet is frayed in some areas, leaving sharp trip hazards. Overall we had a great day, the place was relatively quiet and close to amenities.

Needs maintenance

Broken, dusty blinds, missing drawer in kitchen cabinets, musty smell, broken screen on sliding door, musty smell, suspicious stains on carpet, broken bedside light, washing machine improperly hooked up so "cold water wash" gives you hot water, shrinking clothes. Even the can opener doesn't work. Was challenged by neighbor one block away while walking my dog. She said she usually carries a gun while telling strangers to leave because there have been so many break-ins recently. And this was on a public street.

Everything was just as pictured. It was very nice to have a quiet place to bring our dog. He wandered & had plenty of room outside. There’s what looks like hot sauce on one of the window sills in living room and a mass of spiders everywhere outside windows & under porch awning which was a little unnerving but over all it was comfortable.

It is a good place to stay if you have dogs but beware that some people that stay there with their dogs must let them pee inside because the house reeks of it. I figured it was a waste of time if I reached out to Vacasa about it as they had finish cleaning and there was no way they didn’t smell that smell. I did read there were dogs allowed but never expected that! The pans need replacing. Maybe a few more cookware. It would be good if they would replace the screen door. In the reviews other people mentioned that too. Outside needs a really good cleaning. Webs everywhere so was surprised when I didn’t see that many spiders inside. We did enjoy the large television and the couch. It was stinky from dogs staying there but comfortable. I wanted to be honest with my review as I wish others would have been too.

The perfect house for our sand dune vacation!

Great experience! We will definitely rent this house again. We were here for a week of sand duning. There was plenty of room to park and turn trailers around. The house was in a quiet neighborhood. We were within easy commuting distance to all the dunes.

Centrally located between Coos Bay and Reedsport. Quiet location. Inside was decently clean, comfortable and spacious for us, 6 adults. Outside of homes exterior could be a cleaner, but overall it was a good weekend rental for us!

Annual Quilting Getaway

The house is extremely out dated and was not cleaned well, it had safety issues, broken window locks, broken sliding glass door lock, many other issues. We rent a house every year through VRBO and this one was extremely disappointing and therefore it felt like we paid more then we should have for a house that was in this kind of shape.
