Clean property but headache of a stay
While the home was clean, the experience at this property was extremely poor. Upon our arrival, the access code to the property we were given was incorrect. We eventually were able to get in contact with the host where all they said was âweâll contact our team and get back to you.â After waiting 45 minutes outside the property, they finally gave us a code that worked. While getting settled, we heard chirping from the fire alarm in the basement. We contact the host to let them know and they suggested to change the batteries. We did that and it caused the fire alarm system to go off throughout the house every half hour. Again, we contact the host and all they said was âweâll contact our team and get back to you.â While waiting for a solution from the host, we found the wifi was not working and also discovered one of the showers had no water to it. Yet again, we had to contact the host and we were given the same response âweâll contact our team and get back to you.âIt was hours before we were forced to follow up with them again. They still had no solution for us. It wasnât until the second day of our two night stay they finally said a tech would be out to âfix the issuesâ that evening. They expected us to change our plans on our trip to be around to let the maintenance techs in. If you ask me, your guests should not be responsible for fixing your property issues.The home was clean and the location close to town was great, but what a headache of a stay it was.
