Northy - modern river cottage

Renovated river cottage, sleeps up to 8. This is our family favourite getaway to North Haven aka Northy's. The cottage has been in our family for generations, and now is the time to share it for you to enjoy too. The cottage is comfortable, bright and light, and filled with character. Bedrooms are large in size and all have wardrobe space. Coffee machine, dishwasher, air-con, smart TV, everything you need is here. Single level, only 2 steps to get into front door. Large garden. Linen provided. Sorry no pets.

Room 3: 2x Double/single bunk beds (Bedroom 3 only avalaible for bookings of more than 2 guests upon request)

LAYOUT
Single level cottage, about 3 steps to enter via front porch. Timber floors throughout. The bedrooms are located at the front of the cottage, the open plan dining, kitchen and lounge room are at the back of the cottage. A sliding door adjacent to the lounge area leads to the spacious fully fenced level back yard.

THE AREA
North Haven is a quiet coastal town on the NSW Mid North Coast near Port Macquarie. It’s known for its beaches, fishing, boating, surfing, and relaxed lifestyle. The town sits where the Camden Haven River meets the ocean, giving it strong holiday and outdoor appeal. North Haven beach is patrolled with a great cafe at the surf club. The beach is known by surfers for its clean waves, perfect rights of the break-wall and lefts all down the beach. The Northern side of the beach is the unleashed dog friendly beach, walk as far as you like all the way to Bonny Hills and take the bush trail back. Riverside walk from Camden Haven River to North Haven Beach and Dunbogan is straight across the road. The Camden Haven is a tidal river, the kids love walking to the sand banks at low tide. Great fishing, water sports.
